RHOBH Stars Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp Clap Back at Kate Chastain For Shading Teddi’s Accountability Business, Plus They Question Lisa’s Lie Detector Test

RHOBH's Kyle Richards And Teddi Mellencamp Clap Back At Kate Chastain For Mom-Shaming Tweet

Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp had a lot to say on Twitter after Tuesday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

In addition to taking aim at the credibility of the lie detector test Lisa Vanderpump underwent on the show, Kyle and Teddi addressed some comments shared by Below Deck‘s Kate Chastain, who suggested Teddi’s mom guilt was exaggerated as she also threw some shade at Teddi’s accountability business.

“I’m still not really sure what exactly an ‘accountability coach’ does, but I’m pretty certain it doesn’t require more time away one’s children than any other job the millions of working mothers have,” Kate wrote on Tuesday night.

“Not sure if you’re a Mom or not but we all deal with Mom guilt at times when working,” Kyle fired back. “Not only does Teddi work her a** off helping people and building her business but also being away from the kids when filming is hard sometimes. There are multiple jobs here.”

“And I’m sure the millions of working moms struggle with mom guilt at some point. Never said my job and time was any more important or different. But if judging my feelings as a mother makes you happy go off I guess,” Teddi added.

During Tuesday’s show, Teddi was seen breaking down to her husband, Edwin Arroyave, about the guilt she often feels when she’s away from home working.

As for Lisa’s lie detector test, the man behind the polygraph is actually a reality star in his own right and in a tweet shared by Watch What Happens Live‘s official Twitter page, it was revealed that he’s appeared on several shows, including Flavor of Love, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, For The Love Of Ray J, and Marriage Boot Camp.

“With all these reality shows where does he find the time to solve real crimes?” Kyle asked after learning of the news, also including the hashtag, “#aintnobodygottimeforthat.”

In another tweet shared by Teddi, who was accused of avoiding the truth after learning of Lisa’s polygraph results, she wondered why the man behind Lisa’s lie detector test failed to ask any questions about the alleged set up at Vanderpump Dogs, which aired on the debut episode of season nine.

“Not that it would make a difference, but I didn’t hear any questions regarding the initial Lucy setup at Vanderpump Dogs that started all of this,” she tweeted.

Also on Twitter, Kyle fought back against a fan who claimed Lisa had been “relentlessly bullied” by her co-stars.

“What did any of us say bad about her? Except that we believe she had a hand in the radar story. Nobody bullied Lisa. Don’t abuse the word,” she demanded.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season nine airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
