Lisa Vanderpump and John Sessa are calling out Denise Richards for suggesting she lost contact with Lisa during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills due to “incidences that happened” between them.
During Tuesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Denise claimed to Andy Cohen and a caller that she didn’t turn on Lisa, and she explained that something had “happened” off-camera. Lisa and John are now pointing out that Denise failed to mention the good deed their rescue center did to help her as she coped with the Woolsey Fires at the end of last year.
“I didn’t turn on her. There were incidences that happened and I’m… you know, it happened,” Denise said when asked if she had turned on Lisa.
After a fan tweeted a clip of Denise’s comments to Lisa and asked her what she thought about Denise being unable to answer the question, Lisa reacted to Denise’s statements and shared a surprising detail about their past interaction.
“Wow? The only ‘incident’ we had outside of production was when you asked us to take 8 of your fostered dogs from the Malibu fires and [Vanderpump Dogs] rescued them, in this crisis, when we were at capacity,” Lisa said.
“It wasn’t shown.. too positive? Why all the hate?” she wondered.

Following Lisa’s post, John confirmed that Vanderpump Dogs did, in fact, take eight animals from Denise’s home. He added that each and every one of them was ultimately adopted by other families.
“Yes, it wasn’t shown but [Vanderpump Dogs] took them, got them spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and found them the best furever homes,” he shared.
John then revealed that Denise offered “no donation” to the organization for the help they gave her, nor did she mention “that lovely ‘incident’ at all!”
