Just two days after confirming she has quit her role on The Real Housewives of New York City ahead of the series’ upcoming 12th season, Bethenny took to Twitter, where she revealed that she had to leave the show because she was the only cast member who is “actually married.”
“To my NY hwives: GO GET EM! I had to go since I’m the only one that is actually married…that’s how crazy this ride is. You are all amazing, beautiful and strong. Spread your wings and fly! Xoxo,” she wrote in her tweet to Ramona Singer, LuAnn de Lesseps, Tinsley Mortimer, Sonja Morgan, and Dorinda Medley.

There is now speculation on if Bethenny is referring to tying the knot with beau Paul, who she began dating in 2017 and then rekindling their romance last year after the tragic death of her former partner, Dennis Shields. Then, in October 2018, the couple was spotted holding hands in Boston. Shortly thereafter, Bethenny confirmed their romance on her social media pages.
While Bethenny never actually announced that she was engaged, she sparked rumors of a potential engagement to Paul in June when she shared a series of photos of herself sporting a massive ring on her Instagram Stories.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live earlier this year, Bethenny gushed over her romance with Paul and confirmed he and her daughter, nine-year-old Bryn, get along very well.
“He’s incredible,” Bethenny said of her now-husband. “He’s a beautiful human being, inside and out.”
“And yes, Bryn knows him, loves him,” she continued. “They’re very, very similar people.”
The Real Housewives of New York City season 12 is currently in production and expected to begin airing sometime early next year on Bravo TV.
