The Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel is reportedly set to star in and produce a new show with partner Mark Burnett. Details of Bethenny’s new show are revealed below as she’s also sharing the great strides her BStrong campaign is making to help the victims of Hurricane Dorian.
Bethenny may have officially quit RHONY, but it’s definitely not the last fans will see of her. The 48-year-old reality star has many other great projects in the works, one of which includes a new TV show.
According to the Fame column, via Radar Online, Bethenny has partnered with Mark Burnett and is set to star in and executive produce a new TV show.
The show will reportedly be “entrepreneurial-based” and will show the former New York housewife “offer her expertise to women looking to create, develop and run successful business ventures,” a source dished.
And while some of Bethenny’s costars were surprised to hear about her sudden exit from RHONY, many of the reality star’s close friends expected it according to the report. Sources close to the business mogul said that quitting the show was Bethenny’s way of “keeping her promise” to her late boyfriend Dennis Shields “who always wanted her to reach her full potential in life,” the report stated.
“Dennis always knew Bethenny had a lot more to offer,” an insider dished. “He wasn’t putting down the show, but he made Bethenny promise him she would one day explore bigger opportunities.”
And that’s exactly what Bethenny seems to be doing. Along with her ventures in the entertainment world, the reality star is putting tons of energy into her BStrong relief efforts in the wake of the devastating Hurricane Dorian.
After the hurricane wreaked havoc on the Bahamas and started heading toward the Florida coast, the reality star posted a picture of her and the BStrong team and a video to draw attention to the situation, days after she announced she had boarded a flight to visit both locations on her Instagram page.
“Gearing up for our first #BStrong missions to provide aide in response to #HurricaneDorian. We will be providing crucial supplies, immediate medical support, and helping to evacuate those who weren’t able to leave their homes before the storm. #thisisacrisis” wrote the Bravo-lebrity in her Instagram post on September 3.
“This damage is worse than what I witnessed in Puerto Rico from #HurricaneMaria.” Bethenny continued. “I am here to come and help get these efforts rolling, and am thankful that we will be on the ground to continue this important work. We couldn’t do this without your generous donations, so THANK YOU for your help! ???? goes to the relief effort. No administrative costs. No salaries. I pay!”
“To join our efforts by donating, please click the link in my bio,” Bethanny added at the end of the heartfelt post.
And according to the amount of money her team has raised, Bethenny’s efforts are making a huge difference! The New Yorker took to Twitter on September 3 to thank everyone who donated to the Hurricane Dorian relief effort.
“WOW! You’re donating REAL money. We are getting into the hundreds of thousands & guess what? Not one celebrity or rich person has donated YET. YOU inspire ME.
