Katie Maloney doesn’t appreciate the way Tom Sandoval has been speaking about her husband, Tom Schwartz, on recent episodes of Vanderpump Rules.
Katie set the record straight about the supposed “protocol” of TomTom and took aim at Sandoval for belittling and disrespecting his business partner over the scheduling of Stassi Schroeder‘s book event. Katie appears to imply Tom is exaggerating the importance of his role when it comes to TomTom operations.
“Sandoval doesn’t over see valet and scheduling or anything pertaining to what would make or break an event happen or not at Tom Tom,” Katie tweeted this morning. “Not going to sit idly by and let this whole ‘protocol’ thing be an actual thing. The event was a smashing success!!!”
During last week’s episode of Pump Rules, Sandoval sent a rage text to Stassi in which he warned that her event may be understaffed and threatened to ban her from the venue. Then, after Stassi confronted Sandoval about the issue during the event, he apologized but suggested she also had some blame in the situation during Tuesday night’s show.
Also during Tuesday’s episode, Sandoval told Stassi’s fiancé, Beau Clark, that Stassi should have come to him about the event because Schwartz doesn’t know how to do basic things at the restaurant, including clocking in or ringing in a drink.
According to Sandoval, it is he who is well-versed in the restaurant industry, having worked behind a bar for 15 years.
“I did not take kindly to Sandoval belittling my husband the way he did,” Katie continued. “I grew up in a restaurant and could run circles around Tom and still would never speak to him that way. It’s called respect for your business partner. And trust. Enough said.”
Vanderpump Rules season eight airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
