Kyle Richards debuted her new clothing line with Shahida Clayton during last night’s premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 10, but unfortunately, the event didn’t exactly go off without a hitch.
On Twitter, after watching as she faced snide comments about her alleged lack of involvement with the collection and Dorit Kemsley‘s potential saving of her New York Fashion Week show, Kyle clapped back on Twitter as Dorit responded to her rant and also addressed their drama on Watch What Happens Live.
“I didn’t just ‘put my name’ on the clothing line like Dorit suggested,” Kyle said. “I worked closely with Shahida on the looks WE wanted. For a [long] time. THAT is why I pulled out the pieces that I knew nothing about and were NOT our collaboration.”
While Kyle had experience with developing a clothing line, she didn’t know a thing about the production of a Fashion Week presentation and appreciated the advice Dorit gave her in regard to the styling of her models.
“I knew nothing about doing a fashion show,” Kyle admitted. “A clothing line yes. I had a clothing line on HSN & stores for years. I appreciated Dorit’s help w/ ideas for styling the models for the fashion show but with all due respect she did NOT save my fashion show. We’d hired a production team.”
“I totally appreciated her help when she went with me to style the models. But the show I have to give credit to the production team. Even if we clashed,” Kyle continued.
In a fourth tweet shared towards the end of last night’s RHOBH premiere, Kyle made it clear that Dorit did not save her show.
“I love you [Dorit Kemsley] but you didn’t save my show. We paid a lot of money for a production team for that,” she continued.
In response to the tweet, Dorit applauded Kyle’s show as “amazing” and her production team as “top-notch.”
“The show was amazing, the line fabulous and the team top-notch!” Dorit tweeted.
“Kyle and I have a little bit of back and forth,” she admitted. “She thinks I talk too much. I think she never lets me finish a thought, ever… [She] doesn’t let me finish a sentence.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 10 airs on Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
