Are Stassi Schroeder and fiancé Beau Clark planning for a baby?
Although Vanderpump Rules fans saw some frustrating conflict between the couple in the show’s last few episodes, before their engagement episode aired, Stassi and Beau maintain they’re still on track for marriage and kids.
And before the wedding plans were made, it appears starting a family was already in the works as well.
“So, this summer — before I knew I was going to be proposed to — yes,” Stassi said on a recent episode of Vanderpump Rules After Show when asked if she had been trying for a baby. “I know Beau is my person and the man I want to be with and I want to have a family with, and I’m not going to sit around and wait for him to propose to me for me to do the things that I want to do with him.”
Stassi clarified her statement by noting that she wasn’t “tricking” Beau into having a baby together.
“I’m not tricking him into a pregnancy, like he was an active part of the conversation and participating. He knew what was going on. But I’m like okay, I’m going to take matters into my own hands, like, I can’t wait to be a mom,” she stated, “So I said, ‘Let’s just start doing this because I’m not waiting around for this anymore.’ God, I’m f–king controlling and weird.”
When asked if she and Beau were still trying for a child now, Stassi noted that, although they definitely want a family in the future, everything is currently on hold so they can enjoy their wedding first.
“Oh, no. Now, I’m not,” she said. “I have a wedding dress to fit in, Italian wine to drink…”
Unfortunately for the future husband and wife, the coronavirus pandemic has threatened their upcoming Italian wedding (originally planned for the fall of this year), leaving things up in the air.
