Teddi Mellencamp has followed in the footsteps of her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars, Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley, with a move to Encino, California.
Over the weekend, Teddi, who welcomed her third child with husband Edwin Arroyave in February, confirmed on Instagram that they were in escrow on a $6.49 million seven-bedroom, seven-and-a-half-bathroom home before taking their kids, as well as Edwin’s older daughter from a previous relationship, on the tour of the modern Farmhouse-style property.
“Are you ready to see the new house we are in escrow on? Who’s ready?” Teddi asked the kids, who were seated in the backseat of a car driven by Edwin, in a video shared to her Stories.
According to the listing, which is listed by Mauricio Umansky’s The Agency, Teddi’s new home is quite private with a gated entrance and mature ficus trees surrounding the 8,550-square-foot property.
Inside the dark and quite large front doors are 24’ ceilings, wide plank oak wood floors, and plenty of natural lighting.
Teddi’s new home boasts custom cabinetry, brass finishes, and numerous stone fireplaces, as well as indoor-outdoor living.
Beyond the dining room is a chef’s kitchen that features quartz countertops, a walk-in pantry, Sub-Zero appliances, a prep area, and not one, but two islands.
Also on the main floor of the home is an elegant bar, a temperature-controlled wine room, a game room, and an office.
Teddi and Edwin will enjoy a spacious master suite, which features a double-sided fireplace, vaulted ceilings, a sitting area, a large closet, and its own terrace.
In the bathroom, a soaking tub sits below a large picture window.
To say Teddi and Edwin’s closet is large is a bit of an understatement. Not only does the room have plenty of space for clothing, shoes, and purses, but it also has an island with additional storage and a chandelier hanging in front of its windows.
The terrace has a great view of the backyard and has separate access doors to the master suite’s bedroom and bathroom.
Teddi and her family won’t be needing to travel to the movies anymore. They now have their very own movie theater, which has been outfitted with comfortable seating and storage for their movie collection.
When the family tires from their theater, they can head outdoors where a number of fun features can be found, including a golf area, a basketball court, a pool and waterfall, and an outdoor kitchen.
In addition to showing off their new home to their kids, Teddi and Edwin welcomed their RHOC co-star and friend, Kyle, over to the property on Sunday to check out their stunning space. Teddi’s new home is reportedly minutes away from both Kyle and Dorit.
