Jim Edmonds‘ girlfriend, Kortnie O’Connor, is continuing to move into his St. Louis home. Now, she’s taking over his estranged wife Meghan King Edmonds‘ massive closet.
Before their 2019 split, the former Real Housewives of Orange County star would often share updates on the construction progress of her and Jim’s “dream house” in Missouri.
Now, the former baseball player documented Kortnie moving her things into the master bedroom closet via his Instagram Stories, showing his current flame taking over his ex’s “dream” closet.
“How’s it going?” Jim asked Kortnie in his Stories before adding that the 35-year-old made “serious progress.”
“It’s going!” Kortnie quipped back.
Jim continued sharing the progress Kortnie was making in the closet on his Stories. First, he detailed her stacking shoes and bags and wrote, “Just the beginning.”
The father-of-five went on to show how the closet came together “in a few hours” with shots of numerous hats collecting on a table with a vase of flowers and some clothes already hung up in the background.
More shots showed Kortnie unpacking with rows of shoes on shelves on display behind her.
The closet began to fill out and tidy up in “a few hours” as Jim continued to document boxes being unloaded and shelves and spaces filling up with clothing, shoes, and various accessories.
After the news broke of Jim and Meghan heading for splitsville, Meghan took to her blog to write about the Missouri home. She noted that she didn’t longer care about the “stupid massive house” anymore.
“I don’t care about my new car, I don’t care about my diamonds,” she wrote in that June blog post. “What does any of that mean when I can’t have the most basic needs met? It means nothing. Smoke and mirrors.”
Even with her 2019 proclamation, reports made the rounds in February about Meghan being “through the roof” when hearing about Kortnie moving into the home and Jim being “furious” when getting tipped off about his ex’s interference.
