Brandi Glanville posted a bizarre video of herself on Facebook over the weekend in which she confirmed a recent breakup.
After sharing the clip, which took an unexpected turn at the end, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum took to her Twitter page, where she defended her message to fans by revealing which prescription drugs she’s currently taking and demanding her followers “stay home” amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“So, after a lot of thought and consideration for everyone involved, I’ve made a very difficult decision,” Brandi began in her video, which was shared on Facebook on January 9.
“It pains me to do this but unfortunately, I’m going to have to cut someone out of my life that I spend every f*cking day with and I love and I sleep with it and I, I feel like I’m addicted to it and I might need to leave it. But, it’s so hard when you love something and someone… How do you just walk away? I mean, how do you f*cking do it? For the health of me and my children, I’m going to quit,” Brandi shared.
As the video went on, Brandi complained that “everyone judges everything” she says before saying she’s in an “unhealthy relationship.” Then, she revealed what exactly that relationship entailed.
“I don’t know what I’d do without this. I have to do it. It’s an unhealthy relationship. It takes everything from me. I don’t get anything done. It consumes me so this is it. I’m going to say it and I’m going to do it. You’re my witness. I, Brandi Glanville, am no longer going to be on my couch,” she announced, adding that her couch is the “love of her life.”
“I’m one with my couch. I don’t understand. I want it every day but now I’m walking away. I’m doing it!” she added as she walked off-camera.
Understandably, the odd video received some backlash from her fans and followers, who felt the RHOBH cast member had gone too far and slammed the clip as offensive. In response, Brandi returned to social media to explain herself.
“I’m annoyed as f*ck I tried to do something funny on [Facebook] that actually mirrored my life,” Brandi tweeted.
At that point, Brandi opened up about the assortment of drugs she’s currently prescribed.
“B*tches… I’m on f*cking Xanax. I’m on gabapentin I now take 20 mg of Lexapro every morning I’m struggling also but trying to keep it humorous-suck a d*ck – Peace out,” she wrote.
Then, in a second tweet, Brandi weighed in on the ongoing spread of COVID-19.
“You guys stay the f*ck home someone I was just texting with a few weeks ago a perfectly healthy doctor in his 50s just died from Covid!!!!!! STAY HOME,” she wrote.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast will return to Bravo this spring for season 11.
