Shep Rose has sold his downtown Charleston home after only 14 days on the market! See photos of Shep’s stunning home below as he also explains why his former Southern Charm co-star Cameran Eubanks didn’t get the listing.
Shep recently took to Instagram and revealed that he’s sold the home he lived in for almost six years. The house was featured on the show and fans were even watching when the reality star landed the property.
“Well I did it,” he wrote in a now-deleted post. “It’s done. I built and lived in this naughty little house for a few years a while back and have been renting it to friends ever since. So many fun and wild times here in downtown Charleston. So fun in fact that [I] had to move to [Isle of Palms],” he shared.
The reality star revealed that the home was only on the market for 14 days and it sold for the exact price he was hoping for, but the home was staged beautifully and even included several of Craig Conover‘s colorful pillows from his Sewing Down South collection.
MLS records obtained by Reality Blurb show that Shep’s 1,750 sq. ft home, which boasts three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, sold for $585,000. The 41-year-old Bravo star made off quite well as he purchased the home for $365,000 back in 2014.
The stunning home was listed by The Exchange Co. real estate company based in Charleston.
Once he shared the news, one fan immediately began to wonder why the Southern gentleman didn’t offer the listing to his longtime friend Cameran, but Shep had a reasonable explanation.
“I spoke to her beforehand. She typically only works with buyers,” he explained. “And so I had her blessing.”
Cameran also weighed in on the news by reminiscing on the hard work she put in before ultimately finding the party boy his perfect home at the time.
“I remember selling it to you,” the mother-of-one commented. “Seems like a lifetime ago!”
Shep responded, “Yep. A long 6 years ago. Palmer wasn’t even a glint in your eye.”
If fans recall, Cameran announced she was leaving the show as rumors surfaced regarding her husband’s infidelity, which she claimed were started by Kathryn Dennis. However, Cameran denied the rumors and explained she wanted to step away because “some things aren’t worth a big paycheck.”
Southern Charm airs Thursday nights on Bravo at 9/8c.
