Pump Rules: Lisa Vanderpump's Restaurants Sued For Almost $100K Over Unpaid Produce Just As SUR Reopens Its Doors After Closing Due To COVID-19

Lisa Vanderpump is facing yet another lawsuit as the Vanderpump Rules matriarch slowly begins to reopen her restaurants.

Two of Lisa and Ken Todd’s hotspots, PUMP and Villa Blanca, are reportedly being sued over unpaid produce. Both restaurants shut down last year amid the pandemic, but prior to closing their doors, they were receiving fruit and vegetable deliveries from a company called West Central Produce.

According to court documents, which have been obtained by TMZ, the company received its last payments in March of last year, with a check for $8,890.10 from Villa Blanca and a payment of $9,144.70 from PUMP.

In total, West Central Produce claims it’s owed just under $100,000, which is what they’re suing for, plus interest. According to Ken, he wasn’t initially aware of the lawsuit, but says if he owes money to someone, he will make sure they get paid.

Though Lisa says PUMP is set to reopen soon, she and Ken were forced to close Villa Blanca for good after the landlord allegedly refused to renegotiate the price of the lease, which had gone up significantly.

“If the landlord had been willing to renegotiate and the lease wasn’t ending, we would have reopened, but unfortunately with Coronavirus, the situation was beyond our control,” she revealed to the Daily Mail in July 2020.

Nevertheless, on the bright side, SUR has officially reopened its doors after temporarily closing for nearly three months!

“SUR is reopening its doors just in time to celebrate Valentine together!” the restaurant’s Instagram account announced on February 8. “Book your table starting February 11th.”

In accordance with the city of Los Angeles’ safety mandates, SUR temporarily closed its doors in November, which was the second time in a year the hot spot was forced to close, according to Bravo TV. Prior to reopening in September 2020, the restaurant was closed for six months.

It’s unclear if production will begin on Vanderpump Rules now that SUR is open for business again, but according to insiders, a Tom Tom spinoff is more likely. But for now, Tom Tom has yet to reopen its doors.
