Margaret Josephs was seen opening up about her troubled past relationships during the latest episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. However, it was her changing nail polish that got the attention of many viewers.
As Margaret shared details about workplace abuse and more, which she’ll discuss further in her upcoming book, Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget: How to Survive in Business and Life, she was sporting both black and white nail polish, much to the dismay of many fans on social media.
After Brian Wotherspoon shared a series of screenshots of Margaret’s changing polish on Twitter, which featured Margaret first with short black nails and later with longer white nails, several people weighed in on the issue, slamming Bravo and RHONJ producers for staging the scene.
“I knew this season was feeling staged,” one person wrote.
“Just noticed it too! Terrible editing,” said a second fan.
“Bravo stays reshooting scenes and missing details like this,” a third person added.

Another person even compared the issue to past reshoots on Vanderpump Rules.
“She’s been taking tips from [Pump Rules‘ Ariana Madix] who could grow her hair [three] inches during the same scene,” the viewer noted.
Such an authentic depression convo Ariana had with LVP. Weird that she changed her hair/makeup in the middle of it tho 🙄 This show has become so overproduced and manufactured. IM BORED #PumpRules @evolutionusa pic.twitter.com/oM0DEIleZ2

Following the drama, Ariana took to her Instagram page to explain the issue.
“Pickups. not reshoots. pickups are in every season and every episode. happens when something doesn’t line up, a shot is blurry, etc. just a way to fill in the gaps,” Ariana said at the time. “Nothing about pickups makes the show inauthentic or our conversations less real.”
Margaret has not yet spoken out to explain her changing nail color.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 11 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
