James Kennedy Confirms Plans to Propose to Raquel Leviss, Reveals Which Costar He Saw Weekly Amid Quarantine as Comedian Jim Jeffries Recalls Tense Encounter With Pump Rules Alum Jax Taylor

James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss are on the verge of an engagement.

During an appearance on Thursday night’s episode of Overserved With Lisa Vanderpump, the Vanderpump Rules cast member applauded Raquel for sticking by him before fellow guest Jim Jefferies looked back on a tense encounter he had with Jax Taylor at a comedy club years ago.

“Can you keep a secret? I love Raquel so much and she really has helped me, and you’ve seen everything she stuck by me with. I really couldn’t imagine myself with anyone on this planet. There’s no buts. I think I’m gonna ask her to marry me,” James revealed on the E! reality show, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

“You are?” Lisa Vanderpump asked with an applause. “That would be the best decision you ever made.”

According to James, who will celebrate two years of sobriety in early July, he already has a few ideas about how he’ll propose.

“You get so many things wrong, and you’ve had so many situations you’ve screwed up, this could be your big moment,” Lisa noted.

At that point, James staged a fake proposal with a napkin ring, asking Lisa, “I can’t imagine my life with anybody else. I love you so much, and will you marry me?”

“Yesss! Good boy!” she replied.

Although James went on to admit that he hadn’t been in close contact with most of his Pump Rules castmates amid quarantine, he actually visited Scheana Shay every weekend due to her close relationship with his soon-to-be-fiancé, Raquel.

During another point of the episode, Jim admitted to mooning Jax at the Improv comedy club years ago during filming on a past season of the Bravo show. As he recalled, producers told him he wouldn’t be in their shot. However, because he wanted to make sure that was truly the case, Jim pulled his pants down in front of the cameras and heard, “Cut! Cut! Cut.”

Right away, he shared, Jax got “all silverback gorilla” and attempted, unsuccessfully, to call security on him.

“You don’t get Jim Jefferies thrown out of the Improv, I get me thrown out of the Improv,” Jim said.

Overserved with Lisa Vanderpump airs Thursdays at 10/9c on E!
