Porsha Williams is shutting down pregnancy rumors following her shocking engagement announcement.
Fans immediately began to speculate that the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is pregnant after she revealed she and Simon Guobadia are engaged after only one month of dating. Of course, many believed a baby would explain her sudden rush to walk down the aisle, and the loose-fitting dress she was wearing leading up to her announcement didn’t help matters either.
However, Porsha is on a mission to nip those rumors in the bud by posting photo evidence to prove she’s not with child.
On May 13, she and several of her family members celebrated Shamea Morton‘s birthday with a brunch, and the reality star posted a video of herself and the group knocking back cocktails.
“Brunching with Bae [Shamea Morton] & fam! Happy Birthday Boo,” she captioned the video on Instagram.
Then, mere hours later, she shared a series of photos of herself dressed in a red, skin-tight bodysuit, and there was clearly no sign of a baby bump.
“Back at it???? Loading…….” she captioned the photos.
She also included a quote in the post that said, “If you don’t understand it fully, don’t speak on it. Too many people have full opinions, with half the facts.”
“Welp. This kills the preggo rumors,” one fan wrote.
But another fan accused her of posting old photos, commenting, “I love you Porsha but you ain’t fooling us I know this is an old picture, show that baby bump.”
As a result, the mother-of-one took to her Instagram Stories and shared a video of herself working out in the same red bodysuit in order to prove the photos are current.
Furthermore, a source confirmed to Hollywood Life that Porsha’s recent posts are very intentional.
“She knows it’s fast so of course, she knows people are speculating she’s pregnant, but she’s not,” the source alleged. “She’s toasting drinks and doing shots on social media to prove it.”
As for Porsha and Simon’s wedding plans, they apparently haven’t gotten that far yet as the new couple is simply trying to enjoy their engagement first.
“She hasn’t started wedding planning quite yet, but she’s on cloud nine and very happy to begin this next chapter of her life,” the insider said.
The source went on to add that Porsha “had nothing to do” with Simon and Falynn Guobadia‘s failed marriage as the former couple called it quits in January.
“Porsha had nothing to do with the [dissolution] of Simon and Falynn’s marriage. Simon filed in January, so he was completely single,” the insider asserted, adding, “Porsha didn’t even meet Falynn until she showed up to filming [last summer] so there was no friendship between them before [she appeared on the show].”
