Lisa’s lips are iconic, so it’s surprising she waited as long as she did to launch her beauty brand and lip kits. And according to Lisa, 23-year-old Delilah Hamlin and 20-year-old Amelia Hamlin‘s lips are just as luscious, which is why she’s teaming up with the pair and allowing them to launch their very own lip kits.
“All jokes aside, I just think they’re so fabulous,” the doting mom told Women’s Wear Daily this week. “Nobody has more beautiful lips than my girls and I thought how fun to have them do their own lip kits. I always call [the brand] a family affair, so it just seemed organically the right time to do so.”
Delilah and Amelia’s kits, which will be based on their beauty aesthetics, will include a liner, a lipstick, and a lip gloss.
Amelia, who chose to go with a shade of pink, is really excited to be working with her mom on this latest venture.
“Just starting to be creative in a new place and getting new ideas, I think that’s really what my role will be in all of this,” she told the outlet. “Collaborating with my mom has been so fun and playing a role of a designer within her brand was really cool.”
As fans well know, this is right up Delilah and Amelia’s alley as they’ve both turned into very successful models, working with the likes of Dolce & Gabbana and Too Faced Cosmetics along with many others. Furthermore, this is a great opportunity for Lisa’s brand to target the younger generation as both girls have a massive social media following. Amelia has an impressive one million followers on Instagram while Delilah boasts 1.5 million followers on the platform.
Both sisters told the outlet that one of their biggest beauty memories from their mom as young girls was of her always wearing lip gloss no matter what the circumstance.
“My mom honestly never wore that much makeup growing up, but the one thing that I always took from her beauty routine was, regardless of if she’s wearing makeup or no makeup, she always had lip gloss on,” Amelia shared.
Delilah added, “It just got ingrained in me that less is more and I’ve been doing that for a while. My main look is glowy, dewy, and glossy.”
This collaboration comes just as Rinna Beauty saw its biggest sales month since the brand’s launch in 2020. The company’s sales are reportedly steadily increasing by 25% each month, which is more than Lisa ever expected.
“Because we launched in the middle of the pandemic when everyone was wearing masks, who knew what [the brand] was going to be?” she explained. “But it hasn’t even been a year yet and we are just blowing the numbers and blowing through goals.”
Lisa revealed that her daughters are dipping their toes into the cosmetic industry because it’s an industry they’ve been considering joining for some time.
“I know the girls would love to have their own brands, so we’ll see,” the actress teased. “This is sort of the launching point for them to see what it’s like in their own right in the cosmetics world.”
Delilah and Amelia’s lip kits will be available for purchase this fall, and Lisa will be introducing new lip plumper this fall as well.
