Amelia Hamlin apologized to her dad, Harry Hamlin, after sharing a photo of herself wearing a see-through two-piece on Instagram.
After rocking the racy look, which was designed by Project Runway alum Natalia Fedner, to the Perfect Magazine party during London Fashion Week on Sunday, the 20-year-old model shared the reaction of her mom, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna, as her sister, Delilah Hamlin, 23, also weighed in.
On September 19, Amelia posted a series of photos of herself wearing the convertible metal wrap top and skirt on Instagram, along with a fairy emoji, an alien emoji, and the stars emoji.
Following the post, which garnered both support and criticism, Amelia took to her Instagram page, where she responded to her many fans and followers who expressed concern about Harry’s reaction to the post.
Along with a screenshot of her family’s group text, via Club Bravo on Instagram, Amelia confirmed her apology.
“For the people concerned about Harry Hamlin,” she wrote in the caption of her Story.
Then, in a message directly to dad Harry, 69, Amelia wrote, “Sorry for my [nipple] dad it’s fashion.”
Although Harry didn’t offer a quick response, Lisa, 58, did.
“I just saw lol, it’s fashionnnn,” she stated.
While Delilah was not seen on the text stream, she did offer a response to Amelia’s racy look in the comments section of Amelia’s Instagram post, which read, “I’ll borrow this next plz.”
In the weeks since her split from Scott Disick, who she began dating at the end of last year, Amelia has been focusing her attention on her modeling career. And, before landing in London for its Fashion Week days ago, she made her debut at New York Fashion Week, walking in the Dundas x Revolve runway show.
After news of Amelia and Scott’s breakup was confirmed, Lisa appeared on Watch What Happens Live, where she was asked about the meanest thing she ever said about the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum.
“You know, I’ve actually been quite nice about Scott Disick,” she insisted. “And I would never say [anything] out loud. I might have thought things that weren’t very good… Can I atone for my thoughts?”
Lisa also said that while she made some questionable comments about Scott on RHOBH, she “tried really hard” to be supportive of her daughter.
“I was really patient and I tried really hard. We’ll leave it at that,” she added.
