Kristen Doute and her boyfriend of two years, Alex Menache, took a big step with one another earlier this week: They officially moved in together.
Just over two months after the former Vanderpump Rules star listed her Valley Village home for $1.3 million, she confirmed to her fans and followers on Instagram that she sold the home and moved into Alex’s home, which is also located in Los Angeles, and was “sprinkling” her belongings in with his.
“Surprise! I moved. I sold my house. I flipped my house. I’m so happy Alex and I finally moved in together even though it feels like we’ve lived together for the last two years,” Kristen said in a series of videos shared to her Instagram Story on December 1.
“[I’m] still unpacking but closer to making the house our home!” Kristen captioned one clip, which featured her showing off the pad’s modern kitchen and large island.
“He’s literally giving me full reign to make his house our home,” Kristen continued. “So I’ve started sprinkling some of my things in here for the time being… [I have] lots to do but I told him I’m decorating for Christmakkah.”
In another caption, Kristen added, “After buying a fixer upper, I became even more obsessed with interior design.”
As Pump Rules fans may know, Kristen purchased her former home in April 2019 for $1 million. So, after selling the property in November for $1.359, she was able to turn a profit of $359,000.
At the end of the video, Kristen added, “Welcome to our home. I’ll give you a proper tour at another time.”
In addition to moving in with Alex, Kristen may also be looking to start a family. After all, she said earlier this month that while she wants to have children in the future, she’s not sure if she’ll be able to.
In a message shared to her Instagram Story at the time, Kristen wrote, “It’s just been a lot of anticipatory anxiety for the last two months of the unknown…of what was going on with my body. I’m 37 and hoping to get pregnant but not this minute.”
She then said, in a video, “I’ve had really off cycles lately and it’s been making me really nervous because of my age. And going in today, they were not able to do the tests we were hoping for so it really stressed me out and kind of broke my f*cking heart. But we did the best we could with what we could do.”
Vanderpump Rules season nine airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
