James Kennedy was spotted hanging out with a mystery brunette at SUR Restaurant on Tuesday night before performing his “See You Next Tuesday” DJ set in the venue’s bar area.
Over three months after his engagement to Raquel Leviss came to an end, the Vanderpump Rules cast member took to his Instagram Story, where he shared a video of himself sitting next to a dark-haired woman and her blonde friend as Raquel shared a telling quote on her own page.
“See you next just getting started,” James wrote in the caption of his February 8 clip.
“I don’t even want to give her, like, any clout. She’s a fan,” Scheana revealed on a January episode of E! News‘ Daily Pop.
Around the time of James’ video with the mystery woman, Raquel posted a quote from R. M. Drake. on her Instagram Story.
“The most important day of your life is not the day you get married. Or the day you graduate from college or the day you land your first real job. No. The most important day of your life is the day you realize your self-worth,” the message read. “The day you realize that you are enough. But not only for the world but also, for yourself. The day you realize that the love you have for yourself… is the strongest kind of love there is. The one [that] starts with you. The one you share with other people. The one you’ve always had within. That is the most important day of your life. Realizing your self-love. And knowing how irreplaceable you truly are.”
James and Raquel officially confirmed their breakup to their castmates during the taping of the Pump Rules reunion. Then, on Instagram days after the taping, they shared the news with their fans and followers.
In the months since, James and Raquel have commented on their split on a number of occasions, with Raquel explaining the reason behind their breakup on Scheana’s podcast, Scheananigans.
“I found myself making excuses for him and that’s not who I am. It was getting to the point where my family and him were not meshing well and the future of Thanksgiving and Christmases and holidays was looking like it was either going to be James or my family,” Raquel admitted. “Especially if we had a baby, I feel like James would make my parents out as the not good grandparents… just foreseeing this future and what it was all coming down to, I was like, ‘I don’t want that.’ It was kind of at Thanksgiving where I realized this relationship isn’t one I want to be in anymore.”
Vanderpump Rules has not yet been renewed for a 10th season.
