James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss have called off their engagement.
The Vanderpump Rules stars, who got engaged in May, following five years together, have split up according to James.
Just moments ago, James, 29, released a surprising statement on his Instagram page during which he confirmed he and Raquel, 25, are calling it quits.
“After these 5 wonderful years we had together, we decided we have two different goals and made the decision to call off the engagement,” wrote James on December 5.
He added, “We love each other very much, but we aren’t in love anymore. We want nothing but the best for each other so please keep any thoughts positive. Sending Love.”
James also turned off the comments on his post.
Raquel also shared the same photo and caption as James regarding the split on her own Instagram page.

As Reality Blurb previously reported, the Vanderpump Rules season 9 reunion was filmed on Friday. It’s unknown if the reunion filming is related to their split or this sudden announcement.
Following a romantic proposal, which featured James proposing to Raquel during a “Rachella” party in Palm Springs, the couple had their engagement party in July which was attended by a number of their Pump Rules costars.
The couple however faced some controversy this season as James received some criticism from fans over his treatment of Raquel, with some viewers slamming him for being too critical of Raquel’s looks.
Vanderpump Rules season 9 currently airs Wednesday nights on Bravo.
