Lala Kent has a few younger men in her life.
As the Vanderpump Rules cast member focuses on her one-year-old daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett, and growing Give Them Lala businesses post-Randall Emmett split, she has revealed that she is dating numerous, recognizable men and noted that when it comes to her messy breakup, she’s not grieving her fake relationship.
“Everyone I’m talking to now, they’re known people,” Lala confirmed on the March 23 episode of Give Them Lala. “They’re younger.”
While Lala noted that age 28 should be the youngest she dates, she said she doesn’t think she “could go back to the 20-year [age gap]” she had with Randall.
As for how she met her new guys, Lala said she reached out to her mystery men, who range between the ages of “22 to 24,” via DMs, but when it came to one particular guy, she didn’t share words, but rather a series of emoji.
“That’s the one that’s going the best — so it’s all in the emoji I guess. I did [send a fire emoji] and the little, like, chef’s hand,” she shared.
Although Lala is dating, she told listeners she’s no longer in a “ho phase anymore.”
“If you’re looking at me to participate in that phase, I’m not in it. I look at sex differently. For me… Sex is tainted for me. It’s dirty. It’s gross. It represents something that it shouldn’t. Because I’m dealing with a lot of emotions, sex just, it freaks me out… And I’m probably going to have to go and get therapy to reconnect with the meaning of sex.”
Rather than sex, Lala said she’s “just looking to parade [someone] around like eye candy” because she’s far too busy to get serious.
“Men that I’ve been talking to for a few months now, I don’t tell them what place I am in my life. I don’t tell them what I’ve been through, where I’m at. I keep it surface level,” she explained. “I have nothing to offer a man. I am so deep into everything else in my life that I have nothing else to give someone else. If I have extra to give, it’s not going to you. It’s going to the people that exist in my life right now.”
After guest Larsa Pippen, of The Real Housewives of Miami, mentioned how lucky she is to have such a friendly and respectful relationship with ex-husband Scottie Pippen, Lala admitted she doesn’t think she and Randall will ever be that cordial.
“I don’t think we’ll ever get to that point,” she shared.
Still, she said she’s not suffering over their split.
“I’m not suffering… [But] there was a lot of betrayal. What he was doing behind-the-scenes was not the same as the life he was portraying when we were around each other. So it’s hard for me to come for a place of, like, mourning a loss when there was no loss because it wasn’t ever real,” Lala explained.
Then, when Larsa suggested Lala will look at things differently years from now, Lala said, “I hope so.”
