Production on The Real Housewives of Potomac is underway, and earlier this week, the ladies, along with a rumored new cast member, were spotted filming a very dramatic scene in Miami, Florida, at Peter Thomas‘ restaurant, Bar One.
Amid rumors suggesting Peter, the former husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Cynthia Bailey, was involved in a new romance with Gizelle Bryant, which both Gizelle and Robyn Dixon denied, Mia Thornton and Wendy Osefo were caught on camera engaging in what has been reported as an “explosive fight.”
On Instagram on May 5, the Queens of Bravo shared a series of photos of the RHOP cast, revealing details learned from an unnamed source who confirmed the outing took place on Monday, but they mixed up one particular detail.
“All the ladies were there, plus this mystery lady sitting besides Gizelle,” the insider said. “No clue who she is. They were swapping them out of the scenes which is why you don’t see Mia or [Candiace Dillard-Bassett] in this pic. Sitting beside Wendy is [Karen Huger] and then [Ashley Darby].”
“Also there was a fight with glasses being thrown. Apparently Candiace was involved and Mia,” the source alleged.
The fan page then added in an update, “The mystery woman is a friend of Mia’s and allegedly she’s been filming since the beginning of the season.”
A short time later, the Queens of Bravo clarified that Candiace was not involved in the fight — and wasn’t even in Miami at the time of the encounter.
“Candiace wasn’t in Miami yet. The explosive fight was between Wendy and Mia. Peter Thomas was also present during filming. I have videos from a source,” an insider stated.
Following the sharing of the photos, the potential new cast member was identified as Jacqueline Blake.
“Meet the newest cast member of The Real Housewives of Potomac Jacqueline Blake. She is Mia’s friend and is currently filming on the a group trip with the ladies,” the Real Housewives Zone announced on Instagram on May 5. “Jacqueline has filmed for Season 7 but it’s unclear what her role will be. Possibly a friend with [Askale Davis] only appearing as a guest.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac is expected to return to Bravo later this year for season seven.
