Savannah Chrisley reacted to her parents’ fraud conviction on Instagram on Thursday.

After dad Todd Chrisley and mom, Julie Chrisley were found guilty of tax evasion and five counts of fraud, the Chrisley Knows Best cast member took to her Instagram page, where she encouraged her fans and followers to “be kind” amid the “devastating” news.

“This life is so cruel and we’re all doing the best we can. I will continue to stand by my family and fight for justice. Justice for ourselves and for others that the system has failed,” Savannah wrote in her June 16 post on Instagram, adding that “there is only so much” she can comment on legally.

“Recently, I’ve felt let down by God, that my relentless prayers have been unheard. But I do believe that He will use every hardship and adversity we go through to strengthen us and prepare us for an even greater purpose. So I will continue believing in our Lord and Savior…I pray for strength, hope, and love. Thank you to all of those that continue to stand by our sides. This fight isn’t over,” she continued.

Savannah also included a Zanna Keithley quote.

“Positive thinking isn’t seeing the world through rose colored glasses. It doesn’t mean that you ignore any heaviness you’re feeling or that you cover up your pain with false optimism. Positive thinking is steady strength. It’s the ability to keep an open mind when things don’t happen the way you had hoped,” it read, in part.

Savannah’s Instagram post came on the heels of a Radar Online report that confirmed Todd and Julie had been placed on house arrest as they await their sentencing hearing.

According to legal documents, the couple can only leave home for “employment, education, religious service, medical, substance abuse, or mental health treatment, attorney visits, court appearances, court-ordered obligations, or other activities as pre-approved by the Court or probation officer until further notice of the Court.”

They also have to participate in the Location Monitoring Program, which features the “use of electronic monitoring equipment or other location verification system,” and are required to “pay all or part of the costs of the program based upon [their] ability,” which will be determined by their probation officer.

Todd and Julie, in addition, have to inform their P.O. of “any spending over $1,000.”

As Todd and Julie face up to 30 years behind bars, they’re said to be taking things one day at a time.

“The entire family is devastated about the verdict,” an insider told Us Weekly on June 13. “Any future planning in Todd and Julie’s life is pretty much on pause until they learn of the sentencing in the fall. It’s horrible news and they were not expecting to be found guilty. Their whole life changed in that moment.”

“They aren’t sure what this means for the future of Chrisley Knows Best and all their other projects that were in the works,” the source continued. “No one knows what’s going to happen or what to do at this stage.”

The outlet also noted that while the couple is “devastated” by the guilty verdict, there is one silver lining to the ordeal: Todd has made amends with daughter Lindsie Chrisley.

“Lindsie is there for both of her parents despite her previous estrangement from Todd,” an insider previously told the outlet. “She set aside her differences with Todd to be there for him and it meant a lot to him.”

Chrisley Knows Best season nine, part two, premieres on Thursday, June 23, on USA.
