It’s official. Kristen Doute has split from Alex Menache following two years of dating.
After first hinting at the split by unfollowing her ex-boyfriend and deleting their recent photos together, the Vanderpump Rules alum confirmed she had moved out of her former partner’s residence before responding to a number of curious fans, who questioned her about the demise of their relationship — and her current status with ex-boyfriend Brian Carter.
“Moving day is hard,” Kristen wrote on her Instagram Story earlier this week, via E! News. “Leaving memories behind is even harder. Sending anyone having a DAY like this lots of love.”
In another Story, Kristen added, “Bye beautiful home… We had so many awesome memories… As heavy as it is, my current mood is gratitude.”
According to the outlet, Kristen was confronted by a fan on Instagram days ago who wanted to know why she was no longer following Alex. And in response, the former Pump Rules cast member said, “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.”
Kristen also responded to a social media user who said they hoped Alex would be “the one.”
“Same, but it didn’t work out. Alex is a wonderful man who I love and respect very much,” Kristen replied, as revealed in a screenshot shared by a Pump Rules fan page on Instagram.
The same Pump Rules fan page shared an additional screenshot of Kristen reacting to someone else who had taken note of her recent birthday wishes to ex-boyfriend Brian and suspected she’d “go back to Carter.”
“Carter and I are friends. Nothing more. Period. Everyone stop speculating,” Kristen clarified.
Kristen and Carter split in 2019 after three years of dating, and the following year, she and Alex made their relationship official.
Kristen and Alex’s split comes on the heels of a steady stream of breakups amongst Pump Rules cast members. As fans will recall, Lala Kent split from her former fiancé, Randall Emmett, in October 2021, and the following month, Raquel Leviss called off her engagement to James Kennedy. Then, earlier this year, after a whopping 12 years together, Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz confirmed they were headed for divorce.
Vanderpump Rules season 10 is expected to begin filming sometime this summer.
