Mauricio Umansky has landed his own reality show on Netflix.
After starring alongside wife Kyle Richards on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for its past 12 seasons, Mauricio has taken on a role on Buying Beverly Hills, a new real estate occu-soap that will follow not only him but also his wife’s oldest daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, 33, and the oldest daughter they share, Alexia Umansky, 26.
On Thursday, the streaming giant officially confirmed the news in a press release, saying that Mauricio’s real estate firm, The Agency, which recently expanded to The Netherlands, and its agents and clients will take center stage in its new series.
“Mauricio, his daughters Farrah and Alexia, and the talented group of agents highlight the high stakes world of luxury real estate in Los Angeles,” read a synopsis of the series.
In addition to the family that RHOBH fans have been watching for more than a decade, Buying Beverly Hills will also feature a number of other cast members, including Santiago Arana, Ben Belack, Joey Ben-Zvi, Jon Grauman, Brandon Graves, Allie Lutz Rosenberger, Melissa Platt, and Sonika Vaid.
Wheelhouse’s Spoke Studios and Just Entertainment will produce the series, and its debut season will include eight 40-minute episodes.
As RHOBH fans may recall, another resident husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, confirmed he was working on a new reality show in April of last year as he attempted to cast the upcoming season.
“Guys I’m opening an Estate Agency in London,” PK declared on Instagram at the time. “A major TV network in the UK has signed to cover this new business, as a constructed reality series. All my friends will be involved, but I have an issue …. I want different … I don’t want your typical agent, corduroy trousers, old fashioned views …I want different!”
While Mauricio, Farrah, and Alexia haven’t directly addressed the news of their Netflix project, Alexia seemingly teased the news with a photo shared on her Instagram Story.
Buying Beverly Hills season one premieres this fall on Netflix.
