Ahead of the upcoming 17th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, which will feature the highly-anticipated return of Tamra Judge, Taylor, who had a full-time role on the first three seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is joining the Southern California franchise.
Taylor was one of the original cast members of RHOBH when it began airing in 2010. But after her now-late-ex-husband, Russell Armstrong, was exposed for his alleged domestic abuse and later committed suicide, Taylor got remarried to attorney John Bluher and began living a more private life, at least temporarily, in Colorado with her daughter, Kennedy, 16, before returning to California.
Following PEOPLE’s announcement, Tamra, who appeared alongside Taylor in Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip season two, The Ex-Wives Club, earlier this year, took to her Twitter page, where she expressed her excitement for the news.
“Not only am I returning to [RHOC] for season 17 but my girl [Taylor Armstrong] is joining me along for the ride. Double the trouble coming your way,” Tamra wrote in her tweet, which included a photo of herself and Taylor.
“Here we gooooo!!!!” Taylor replied.

But when a fan questioned her about which RHOC cast member would be the third Tres Amiga, the group name of her Vicki, and Shannon, Tamra wouldn’t say who it would be.
“Who’s the 3rd Amiga,” the fan asked. “Tell us!”
“All in due time…” Tamra teased.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 17 will likely premiere on Bravo sometime in early 2023.
