Kathy Hilton is opening up about sister Kyle Richards‘ future with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Following a series of interviews, during which Kyle discussed the potential end of her run on the Bravo reality show, Kathy shared her thoughts about Kyle’s ongoing role while also revealing whether or not she’d consider taking on a full-time position for a future season.
“I think she does that,” Kathy told E! News of Kyle’s questioning of her Bravo future on August 6. “She works so hard, and you finally sometimes go, ‘Well, maybe this is it.’ But I think she’ll be back.”
“This show, even just the little bit that I do—then you have to do the press, you have to do BravoCon, you have to do the reunion—and then, all of a sudden, you’re back filming again,” she added.
While Kathy admitted that she usually says “never say never,” she admitted that when it comes to potentially taking on an upgraded role, she is not open to any such thing.
“Usually, you say, ‘I’ll never say never,’ but for sure, absolutely not,” she confirmed. “That way, you have to involve your family, and my family would have no interest and my husband would have no interest. He’s a businessman, so it’s never gonna happen. They expect you to involve all your kids, your husband, everything.”
In other Kathy Hilton news, Teddi Mellencamp recently discussed the RHOBH “friend” on an episode of her podcast.
After mentioning that Erika Jayne had apologized to Kathy after missing a number of her events, pointing out that she had given Kathy a heads up, Teddi noted that Kathy had said, “Luckily.”
“She’s very by the book, like ‘Thankfully you RSVPed that you weren’t coming or else it would have been disrespectful,’” Teddi said on an episode of Two T’s in a Pod, via Heavy.
In response, Teddi’s guest host, Meghan King, formerly of The Real Housewives of Orange County, said she feels that “Kathy just wants to have a good time.”
“Everything’s a party. Everything’s an occasion, she just wants to have a good time,” Meghan shared.
And Teddi agreed — but with a catch.
“I think Kathy just wants to give an impression of being a good time… It’s one of those things like it’s fine. She can be a good time,” Teddi noted. “She can be a prankster. She can be all of these things but she’s definitely not a laid-back good time that she’s pretending… She’s not a hunky dory type.”
Instead, Teddi revealed that Kathy’s “good time” isn’t genuine.
“She’s a very manufactured good time,” Teddi alleged.
