Although Olivia hasn’t made anything official quite yet, she was spotted over the weekend in Charleston, South Carolina, with 27-year-old minor league pitcher John Parke, who shared a photo of the two of them on his Instagram Story.
As seen in a series of photos shared by Queens of Bravo on Instagram, Olivia was seen with her hand on John’s face in the photo he shared himself. And in a couple of other candid shots, the potential new couple was seen at a bar and walking down the street.
Although John appeared to be wearing the same outfit on both occasions, Olivia was seen wearing a white top and white hat in the daytime shot and in a dark shirt and tan skirt in the evening.
After Olivia and John were seen with one another, Bravo and Cocktails, also on Instagram, shared a number of details sent to them from fans in regard to who exactly John is.
“He’s a baseball player! For the White Sox/maybe their minor league club,” one unnamed tipster claimed.
Then, in a second post, another added, “He plays in Charlotte where she just was for Halloween! Also where Austen is from.”
According to the official website of Major League Baseball (MLB), John is currently playing for the Charlotte Knights, but he has been featured on a number of different teams since 2018, including the Birmingham Barons, the Winston-Salem Dash, and the Kannapolis Intimidators.
He was also assigned to the Chicago White Sox briefly in March 2020, and while playing for their farm league in 2017, he was named a Post-Season All-Star.
During an interview with Us Weekly earlier this month, Austen was asked if there was a possibility of him and Olivia rekindling their romance. And in response, he said he’d “never say never” to the idea.
“She’s such an important person in my life and she was huge for me this year to kinda get back to who I think that I am,” he admitted.
No word yet on a potential ninth season of Southern Charm.
