Dr. Nicole Martin claims her co-star Larsa Pippen tried to “ruin” the marriage of Julia Lemigova and tennis pro Martina Navratilova. The mother of one also shared details behind Julia’s alleged kiss with a man, which Larsa exposed in the season five trailer of Real Housewives of Miami (and indicated there was a photo of it). Later in the video, Julia’s wife appears to be angered by the revelation.
The recent drama between Larsa and Julia stemmed from a social media diss when Larsa called her a “weirdo” on Instagram after Julia defended her friend Adriana de Moura, who was also feuding with Larsa.
Speaking with Page Six, Nicole addressed what happened on the show.
“There was some Instagram drama between [Larsa and Julia] and it was some stupid, petty drama and then here [Larsa] comes, like, ‘I heard you’re making out with men,’ like, potentially trying to ruin a marriage,” said Nicole.
“Like, Instagram drama [versus] ‘Let me destroy your marriage’? This is a perfect example of how Larsa fights.”
Nicole continued, “Julia is a little flirtatious, very sexual. She’s very comfortable with her sexuality … I think she suppressed it for so many years that now she’s very much about embracing how she’s feeling.”
She said the photo evidence of the kiss was taken on a night out as paparazzi were watching.
“I think she is teasing the paparazzi. She’s out with her friend and they’re taking pictures and people were speculating,” said Nicole. “And she’s like, ‘You know what? You want a show? I’m going to give you one.’”
According to Nicole, Martina was aware of Julia’s playful moment in spite of Larsa’s dramatic delivery.
“Martina knew about it,” said the 37-year-old. “She didn’t give a s—t, so why are we trying to create drama where there is none?”
The star then referenced the season four reunion, when she asked if Kim Kardashian (Larsa’s former bestie) had her sign a nondisclosure agreement. At the same taping, Larsa shaded Nicole for having a child out of ‘wedlock.’
“She’s still mad at me about stuff that happened at the reunion … when … I asked her about an NDA,” said Nicole.
“I didn’t think that was a big deal. I live with a lawyer. I know a lot of people that have to sign NDAs and that was not meant as a personal attack at all. I was just like, ‘Maybe she can’t talk about [the Kardashians]. Let’s drop the subject.’ I swear to you it was totally innocent.”
Addressing the dig over her son Greyson, Nicole explained, “That was a really hard one for me to get over. Greyson’s the love of my life and for anyone to question his validity or, like, the circumstances under which he was created, to me, was really hurtful.”
“And especially coming from a mom,” she added, “someone who has kids.”
Nicole then revealed, “The NDA comment and [her comment about Greyson] have overshadowed our friendship and have really kept us from bonding … We have a couple other incidents this season that [are] …holding us back from fully committing to being friends.”
