Kyle Richards made a decision to cut alcohol out of her diet after a vacation last summer, and now, after sticking to that decision, she’s nearly seven months sober.
Amid the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s efforts to lose weight and get fit, Kyle responded to a series of fan questions on her Instagram Story, revealing what she snacks on during the day, how much she uses her Peloton, and whether or not she’ll return to drinking during filming on season 13.
“Thank for sharing your fitness and food regimen! I heard you stopped drinking alcohol too? Do you think you’ll drink again? Do you miss it?” a fan asked Kyle on February 8, as seen in a screenshot shared by the Best of Bravo on Instagram.
“Truth is I don’t miss it at all. I didn’t put a time frame on when or if I would start again. I feel amazing so don’t see the point right now. It will be [seven] months on [February 15],” Kyle replied.
A second fan asked, “Thanks for sharing your exercise/weight loss journey Kyle!! Just curious what do you snack on during the day?”
“Apple [with] peanut butter, fruit, raw nuts, carrots [and] hummus,” she revealed.
As the questions continued, a third fan wanted to know how much Kyle uses her Peloton — and if she uses the brand’s strengthening courses.
“How often do you ride your Peleton and do you ever do the strength classes on there? Thanks for sharing!!” they wrote.
“Love my Peleton!” Kyle confirmed. “I use it about [three] times a week now and I used to do some of the strength training but not anymore. I do love an arms and intervals class when I am short on time.”
Also on her Instagram Story, Kyle reacted to a person who wondered, “Will you not drink when you are filming again?”
“I don’t plan on it,” Kyle shared. “With that said, some of these women have been known to drive someone to drink.”
In an interview with Extra earlier this month, Kyle, who has been accused of using the diabetes drug Ozempic to lose weight, admitted she “cannot stand” the speculation.
“People that know me know that I’m up every day like 5:30, 6 a.m. the latest … I’m in the gym for two hours. I really put a lot of effort into my diet and exercise and taking care of myself,” she explained.
Kyle’s husband, Mauricio Umansky, also spoke of Kyle’s dedication to her health, telling Carlos King on a December episode of his podcast, Reality With the King, that she’d been “doing a lot of walking” and “getting herself into shape.”
“I’ll tell you, when you guys see her, you’ve never seen a better, sexier Kyle than on the next season,” he teased. “She’s just been working out every single day. She’s in such good shape, and mentally, she’s getting a lot better.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is currently in production.
