Lisa Hochstein‘s team of divorce attorneys have just filed court documents, revealing that the Real Housewives of Miami cast member owes them over $85,000 amid her messy split from estranged husband Lenny Hochstein.
As Lisa, 40, continues her fight for emergency financial support from the 56-year-old plastic surgeon, the lawyers have calculated her fees as the court prepares to determine which party will be responsible for paying them.
In court documents obtained by Page Six on February 13, attorney Paul Leinoff stated that Lisa owes $49,171.48 for “legal fees, costs and suit monies due to Leinoff & Lemos, P.A.,” and she owes an additional $35,841.90 to accounting firm Kaufman Rossin & Co.
But while the total, $85,013.38, will continue to accrue interest until the debt is paid, the RHOM cast member’s rep explained to the outlet that the itemization isn’t out of the ordinary.
“As is customary in divorce proceedings, there is a hearing scheduled in April to determine who’s responsible for the legal fees,” the rep told Page Six. “As of now, Lenny is not giving the support that is customary in this situation.”
According to the report, Lisa retained her legal team on April 26, 2022, weeks prior to Lenny’s filing in late May.
In their legal documents, the law firms requested that any settlements Lisa is given amid the divorce be used to pay the bill.
As RHOM fans may recall, Lisa recently claimed that after Lenny cut off her credit cards, she was unable to afford to buy diapers or food for their two kids, Logan, 7, and Elle, 3. However, in his response, Lenny said Lisa is paid $30,000 per episode of the Bravo reality show and insisted he only put a monthly limit on the cards after she spent $9,000 on designer items in one week.
Lenny also said Lisa was forced to return the luxury handbags in exchange for cash to use for their children and claimed Lisa’s “excessive” requests for support come as she continues to reside in their $52 million Star Island mansion and “drives luxury vehicles including a Range Rover and a Rolls-Royce.”
In other RHOM news, Lenny has allegedly purchased new teeth for his girlfriend Katharina Mazepa, 27, who he began dating prior to his divorce filing last year.
In photos shared by All About the Real Housewives on Instagram on February 14, Katharina is seen before and after the alleged procedure.
