Melissa Gorga and her husband, Joe Gorga, recently received slaps on their wrists from Bravo.

During a recent episode of her PodcastOne series, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star opened up about the latest season of the Bravo reality series, season 13, noting that Bravo issued a gag order against her and her castmates for the “first time ever.”

“We got a gag order for the first time ever cause it’s Bravo. Let’s tell the truth,” shared Joe on On Display. “We’ve been on this show for 13 years and we’ve never been on a gag order through Bravo. We’ve never had them say you cannot talk about the show, you cannot talk about anything. You can’t repost anything really about the show.”

“We all got a little slap on the wrist because for some reason this season has been really kooky, this is like the first time ever that this has happened to us and it’s just so weird this year,” Melissa added. “Everything’s different and like, just everything’s just like, different.”

According to Melissa and Joe, Bravo reached out to members of the show, demanding they refrain from discussing the currently airing season on their social media pages.

“Something’s different!” Joe added of the season.

As RHONJ fans well know, Melissa and Joe have been at the center of controversy in recent months following the massive falling out they suffered with Teresa Giudice during the taping of the season finale. And since the 13th season began airing last month, all parties have been extremely vocal about the drama between them — as have Giudice’s daughters, who’ve accused the Gorgas of failing to be there for them during their mother’s prison stint.

There has also been plenty of tension surrounding the topic of Teresa and Luis RuelasAugust 2022 wedding, which the Gorgas chose to skip after their finale debacle, and which is expected to air in the coming weeks.

While the Gorgas and Giudices have feuded on and off for years, many have believed their relationship was irretrievably broken during season 13. And when discussing a potential future reconciliation in the past, Teresa hasn’t seemed open to the idea — nor has Melissa.

“I think we need time. I feel like Joe and I have had enough. We are exhausted and sometimes family needs space and right now, we need space,” she admitted to E! News at the end of last year.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
