Scheana Shay was asked about Tom Sandoval‘s claims of trying to split from Ariana Madix prior to the reveal of his months-long affair with Raquel Leviss on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
After sharing Katie Maloney‘s reaction to her saying her former flame, Satchel Clendenin, looked like he came from Vanderpump Dogs, the Vanderpump Rules star revealed which cast mate is the least wealthy, looked back at her and Brock Davies‘ wedding, and reacted to fans’ “mob mentality” towards Sandoval and Raquel.
“I actually asked Lala about this,” Scheana revealed of her Satchel diss on the April 19 episode of the WWHL: After Show. “There was so much else happening in the episode that she didn’t react to that that much.”
Still, when she found out Katie was watching episodes of season 10 with Lala Kent in preparation for the reunion weeks ago, she reached out to Lala.
“I was like ‘Oh my God, there’s one comment I made. Please let me know if she’s offended,’” Scheana recalled. “And I don’t think that was the worst thing that happened in that episode. So I hope it was okay.”
Scheana also discussed Katie on the live broadcast of WWHL, admitting that it’s been “very hard to watch” Katie in the aftermath of her divorce.
“My heart breaks for her in every scene that I see because I know her emotions were real,” she explained. “I just wish, and I said this to her last week when we hung out, I wish we had more conversations in person at the time instead of the catty BS back and forth because I think we could’ve gotten to where we are now then.”
As Pump Rules fans will recall, Katie didn’t appreciate how Scheana pushed Raquel on Tom Schwartz after their split. But Schwartz wasn’t the only person Raquel kissed in the season. She also made out with Oliver Saunders, whose wife, Samantha Saunders, accused him of cheating shortly thereafter.
“I was there for the phone call with Samantha,” Scheana revealed. “I believe Samantha but f-cking love [his mom, Garcelle Beauvais] and so.. It was an awkward situation.”
After answering with Raquel’s real name, “Rachel,” in response to a question about which of her co-stars has the least amount of money, Scheana spoke of her wedding, admitting that her castmates didn’t give her gifts.
“I don’t think anyone gave me a wedding gift at all,” she said, explaining, “It was a destination wedding. I expected no gifts. I wanted no gifts. I needed no gifts.”
All Scheana really wanted from her co-stars was their presence, which was a struggle for Lala, who felt there were too many events she was required to attend.
“It was not that many events. She exaggerated in her interview. It was just the welcome party,” Scheana clarified.
During her appearance on WWHL, Scheana played a game of “Truth or Drink,” and during the Q&A segment, she was asked to rank her exes from best to worst.
“[Mike Shay], [Max Boyens], [Adam Spott], [Eddie Cibrian],” she declared.
When Scheana was then asked how Sandoval could get redemption, she told host Andy Cohen that she has “no advice” for her former friend.
“I don’t think there’s coming back from this. Not in this friend group. They’re gonna have their scenes, we’re gonna have our scenes,” she explained.
And when it came to questions about the “mob mentality” of fans, Scheana didn’t agree with Schwartz that viewers should back down.
“You know what? They deserve what’s coming to them,” she said of Sandoval and Raquel. “I’m trying to stay out of it, but I’m just like, ‘Y’all did a bad thing’ — I’m saying as far as following the mob mentality and all of that. I don’t check comments, I don’t read the stuff. I don’t. For my mental health, I try to stay out of the comment section.”
Also, on the show, after being asked about Sandoval’s claim that he tried to split with Ariana before his romance with Raquel was uncovered, Scheana confirmed she did not hear that from Ariana.
“No,” she stated.
Vanderpump Rules season 10 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
