Brittany Cartwright discussed her February health scare during an episode of Kristen Doute‘s podcast last month.

After being rushed to the hospital by a friend in February as her husband, Jax Taylor, was away from home working. The Vanderpump Rules star said that after going through previous bouts with numbness, her body began losing feeling to the point that she fell and sustained bruises.

“All of the sudden, I started getting numbness in my right arm and my right leg, to the point where I couldn’t even hold my cell phone anymore,” Brittany recalled on the April 26 episode of Sex, Love & What Else Matters, via Heavy. “And it got really scary because it was happening out of nowhere.”

“This one lasted for 24 hours straight. It was my entire right arm and my entire right leg,” she continued.

After the fall, Brittany contacted a friend who took her to the emergency room, and a short while later, Jax returned home from his job.

As Pump Rules fans may recall, Brittany shared an image of herself from a hospital bed in February, writing in a caption, “Little health scare, but I’m okay! Keep me in your prayers.”

Looking back at the two days she spent in the hospital, Brittany admitted it was “really scary.”

“They didn’t know what was going on with me,” she explained. “They thought that maybe I had early signs of MS, or maybe a small stroke, so I had to have MRIs on my brain and on my spine. And I had to have CAT scans. It was just a really scary time.”

After meeting with a neurologist, Brittany learned her tests were “clean” and her blood work was “perfect.”

“We still don’t know what’s going on. But I haven’t had the numbness since that day, or anything. I was breaking out in hives a lot. There was just a lot of, like, crazy things that [were] going on,” she added.

Luckily, amid her health concerns, Brittany had plenty of help from her loved ones, including Kristen, who gave her a hand with her and Jax’s now-2-year-old son, Cruz.

And, while she never found out what led to the numbness she was feeling, she’s now doing much better.

“Knock on wood,” she shared.

While Kristen returned to Pump Rules earlier this year to film scenes for season 10 after Tom Sandoval‘s sordid affair with Raquel Leviss was exposed, Brittany and Jax have yet to make returns.

That said, during an interview with E! News in March, the couple suggested they would be on board if they were asked back.

“Yeah,” Jax told the outlet.

“Probably,” Brittany added.

Vanderpump Rules season 10 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
