Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, Kelly Bensimon, and Kristen Taekman are reportedly being paid quite well for traveling to St. Barts to film the upcoming season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip.
As the Real Housewives of New York City cast members continue to share photos and videos of themselves in production on the future Peacock episodes, a new report claims that certain stars of the show are receiving $250,000 salaries for spending time with one another, drinking, partying, and engaging in drama, on the island.
According to a June 17 report from TMZ, Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy began filming on Tuesday. And, while there were reportedly some salary disputes in the weeks leading up to the getaway, the ladies are believed to be making around $27,777 for each day they film.
Years after the infamous trip to St. Barts on RHONY season five, during which Luann seemingly engaged in a rendezvous with a pirate, Bravo is dropping a whopping $1.5 million on salaries.
News of the ladies’ alleged salaries comes just one month after NBCUniversal officially announced the series with a press release.
“Over a decade after first appearing on ‘The Real Housewives of New York’, [RHUGT: RHONY Legacy] reunites cultural icons Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, and Kristen Taekman as they jet off to beautiful Saint Barthélemy for an epic adventure of a lifetime,” the release stated.
Although RHONY OG Jill Zarin was expected to appear on the show initially, she told Jeff Lewis on his radio show in March that a pay dispute had arisen.
“I just wanted everyone to get paid the same,” Jill stated. “We started together. In fact, I cast the show. I brought on [Bethenny Frankel], I brought on Luann, I brought on Ramona. So, for nothing else, I should definitely get paid the same as everybody else, or I’m not doing it.”
No word yet on when Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy will premiere.
