Kyle Richards is speaking out against claims she was “hiding her face” during a recent outing in Los Angeles with her rumored flame, Morgan Wade.

In a message shared on Instagram, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member fired back at the report as her musician friend also weighed in, and others began to wonder if their alleged romance is nothing more than a publicity stunt.

“I feel like this timing is all too coincidental considering Morgan is releasing a new song [“’80s Movie”] this week,” a fan wrote in a screenshot shared by Bravo and Cocktails on Instagram on July 10. “She posted this a few hours ago along with a collab of the sunglasses that she’s wearing in the picture you just posted.”

According to the fan, the timing of the romance rumors are not only suspicious due to Morgan’s new music, but also the second season of Buying Beverly Hills, which is currently in production, and the upcoming 13th season of RHOBH, which is expected to begin airing in the coming months.

“I love Kyle but clearly knowing [Buying Beverly Hills] is coming out, Morgan’s new music they are just running with the story line everyone else just started for that extra publicity and I feel like Bravo is lovvving it!” they added.

RHOBH Kyle Richards' Rumored Flame to Release New Song Amid Reports

While fans continue to wonder what’s going on between her and Morgan, who she’s insisted is only a friend, Kyle is fighting back against a series of newly-released photos of her and Morgan, which several outlets have suggested were taken recently.

“This photo is from April when Morgan was in town performing at my [National Alliance on Mental Illness] event for RHOBH. She is not even in California. And I am not hiding my face,” Kyle corrected in the comments section of a Page Six post on Instagram, via All About the Real Housewives. “Please stop.”

And in her own message, Morgan promoted her music career, asking, “Hey [Summerfest] can you let these folks know I was playing a killer set yesterday IN MILWAUKEE?”

Then, in another post, shared by Kyle on her Instagram Story, she noted, via another woman, that Page Six was related to Fox News.

“Page Six is part of the New York Post. The NYP is owned by Rupert Murdoch. Rupert Murdoch also owns Fox News,” read a message shared on her account.

Earlier this month, after it was reported by PEOPLE that Kyle and Mauricio Umansky had separated, the couple shared a joint statement on Instagram.

“In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue. However, yes, we have had a rough year,” they wrote. “The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously. There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part. Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately. While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.”

In the days since, it has been reported that Kyle will be featured on season two of Buying Beverly Hills, and her and Mauricio’s separation will be covered on RHOBH.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime this fall.
