The Real Housewives of New York City may have premiered on Sunday night to positive feedback from fans online, but that hasn’t exactly transferred over to its ratings.

Following a complete recasting of the Bravo series, which now features Erin Lichy, Jessel TaankJenna LyonsSai de SilvaBrynn Whitfield, and Ubah Hassan, the numbers from its Sunday, July 16, episode have been confirmed. And despite fans’ excitement, the ratings are lackluster.

As noted by Spoiler TV, the season 14 premiere brought in just 672,000 viewers, with 0.215 of the key demo (ages 18 to 49), which is far less than the season 13 premiere captured two years ago.

According to ShowBuzzDaily, season 13 started off strong with a season-high of 959,000 viewers on May 4, 2021, before concluding on a season-low with just 542,000 tuning into the finale on September 7 of that same year.

The previous season, season 12, which was broadcast in 2020, saw every episode exceeding 1 million viewers, aside from the July 2, 2020, episode, which dipped to 878,000, likely due to the Fourth of July holiday.

While the show captured between 1 and 2 million for the majority of its run, an episode from season three in May 2010 grabbed over 2.5 million viewers.

As for Sonja Morgan and Luann de Lesseps‘ spinoff show, Welcome to Crappie Lake, that brought in 505,000 and 408,000 viewers during its first two episodes, which both aired on July 9, and 383,000 for its third, per Spoiler TV.

Although spinoffs aren’t typically expected to top their mother shows, Bethenny Frankel‘s spinoff, Bethenny Ever After, which aired from June 2010 to May 2012, captured between 971,000 and 2,259,000, as shared by TV By the Numbers.

It should be noted, however, that these numbers do not include streaming viewers, which could make up for a lot of the dip Bravo shows have seen in recent years.

The Real Housewives of New York City season 14 airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo, followed by Welcome to Crappie Lake season one at 10/9c.
