Jax Taylor and Tom Schwartz were seen engaging in quite the animated conversation over the weekend as they filmed the upcoming 11th season of Vanderpump Rules at SUR Restaurant and Lounge. But were the longtime friends fighting?
After a video of the “heated discussion” between Jax, 44, and Schwartz, 40, began making its rounds on social media, Jax took to the comments section of an Instagram post to address the rumors and offer an update on their relationship.
“Is the number one guy in the group making his [Vanderpump Rules] comeback?” Bravo Breaking News asked in the caption of a post that featured the video of Jax and a newly blonde Schwartz filming at SUR while surrounded by fans and a cameraman.
But while Jax appeared to be upset as he leaned into Schwartz and threw his hands in the air, he told curious fans that there was no truth to the claims of an alleged dispute with Schwartz.
“Definitely not heated he’s one of my best friends,” he wrote, adding, “We had the best conversations ever.. again with people trying to get upset over nothing..”
During an interview with Us Weekly in July, Jax said that if he were to return to Pump Rules for season 11, fans would be seeing a different side of him.
“There’s things about it that I miss and there’s things about it that I don’t miss,” he explained. “I’ve learned a lot. Obviously, now being a father, I look at things a lot differently. I don’t really sweat the small stuff. I pick and choose my battles. I’m learning to let things roll off my back.”
In addition to returning to Pump Rules, Jax, along with wife Brittany Cartwright, 34, former co-star Kristen Doute, 40, and several others are currently in production on a spinoff series based out of The Valley, where Jax and Brittany reside with their two-year-old son, Cruz Michael Cauchi.
Vanderpump Rules season 11 is expected to begin airing later this year or early next year.
