As the Vanderpump Rules cast films the upcoming 11th season of their hit show, the men and women of the series’ spinoff The Valley have also gone into production.

Following the news that Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, and Kristen Doute would be starring in a show of their own, which would feature them in the post-SUR chapters of their lives, the trio was seen filming with their co-stars — and cast members of Pump Rules.

“It’s all happening! Valley Village spotted filming [Janet Caperna]’s birthday yesterday (Sat July 29th, 2023) at Britt and Jax’s house,” Bravo 4 the Rest of Us shared on Instagram, along with a photo of the group celebrating Janet.

According to the post, Jax, Brittany, Janet, and Kristen filmed scenes for their spinoff with co-stars Jason Caperna, Janet’s husband, and Luke Broderick, Kristen’s boyfriend, as well as Pump RulesLala Kent and Scheana Shay.

In an August 1 report from The Messenger, the rest of the cast was revealed.

“It’s about their friend group today and the next stages of their lives navigating new relationships,” a source told The Messenger. “It will also follow Kristen and her boyfriend who co-host a podcast together. They want to try for a family and marriage and it will show all that. Jax and Brittany also want more kids and that will be shown.”

Married real estate agents Michelle Lally and Jesse Lally, who share three-year-old daughter Isabella, will also be featured.

The cast also includes former Miss USA Nia Sanchez and her husband, iCarly‘s Daniel Booko, who welcomed twins girls Isabelle and Zariah in June.

The couple shares one-year-old son Asher as well.

Janet and Jason, meanwhile, are expecting their first child this November.

Another cast member seen will be Jasmine Goode, who was a contestant on the 21st season of The Bachelor and was later seen on the Bachelor in Paradise season four.

Brittany’s best friend Zack Wickham will make appearances, too.

Prior to being spotted filming for the Pump Rules spinoff, Lala said on Amazon Live that it was weird that her friend group was filming separate shows.

“It is so weird that they have a show and they aren’t on our show,” she said on Amazon Live. “As of now, we aren’t on their show. We are all best friends and we should be filming a show together.”

But according to The Messenger, crossovers with both shows are expected to happen over the course of filming in the next eight weeks.

“Contracts are being worked out still on how that’ll happen,” the insider shared.

As Pump Rules fans may know, Jax and Brittany had been in talks to appear on their own show for years. However, it didn’t come to fruition until recently, mainly due to pandemic-related challenges.

“When the pandemic hit, a pin was put in it,” the insider shared. “Then Scandoval happened and it lit the fire to move quickly and escalate filming to the summer and capitalize on the success and excitement.”

“Bravo has high hopes for the show and is making it a priority,” another source added.
