The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast was reportedly expected to conclude their 14th season with a group trip to the Berkshires in Massachusetts. However, after what’s been described as a lackluster season, the getaway has allegedly been called off.
Following ongoing reports claiming producers are struggling to find drama amongst the group due to Teresa Giudice‘s refusal to interact with her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, 44, on camera, fans are calling for the longtime series stars to be fired.
“[RHONJ] cast trip no longer happening. Cast was supposed to go away for three days starting tomorrow. It has been cancelled,” All About the Real Housewives announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, on October 20.

AATRH is still gathering details on why the trip was canceled, but they state that the RHONJ cast was scheduled to depart for their cast trip on Saturday, October 21, and the trip was supposed to last for three days. The season 14 finale will now be a dinner with all of the cast with filming scheduled to conclude on October 28.
And shortly after the message was shared, a Bravo fan took to their TikTok account to share their grievances.
“This is why [RHONJ] has become the worst [Real Housewives] show on Bravo,” the man began. “First, it was rumored the women were going to the Berkshires for their final cast trip The Berkshires. Now the trip is canceled entirely and that’s embarrassing. Production on [RHONJ] has been a flop across the board. They brought on like four women to test for the new season and none of them did anything so we’ll be lucky to see someone’s foot on camera if they don’t cut them entirely. And the other women have nothing going on in their lives aside from a charity softball game we don’t want to see anymore and two makeshift fashion shows showing Kmart fashions.”
“Just cancel [RHONJ] at this point and give Teresa and her girls their own show. They have the potential to become the next Kardashians and if Bravo won’t do it, then E! or Hulu will,” he concluded.
Then, after his video was shared on Reddit, a number of other RHONJ viewers weighed in.
“It was a mistake for them to keep both Melissa and Teresa. Maybe they will finally realize this after this season airs,” one person said.
“If only they delayed filming, fired one (or both) of the Gorga/Giudices, and gave us the Very Jersey Christmas we wanted, we wouldn’t be getting such a clusterf**k of a season,” noted another.
“Good,” agreed a third fan. “That’s what they get for not removing the people needed to go, and keeping the SAME stale cast and stale dynamics for years straight that’s ruining the show (the Gorgas, and Margaret to a lesser extent).”
While there have been reports of drama, including a physical altercation between Danielle Cabral, 38, and Jennifer Aydin, 46, and a somewhat unexpected feud between Margaret Josephs, 56, and Jackie Goldschneider, 47, fans believe the series “should be revamped.”
“They don’t need to cancel the show. They need to fire both Melissa and Teresa,” someone stated.
“They need to get rid of both Melissa and Teresa at this point. Neither are doing anything that we care to see,” shared another Reddit user.
The sisters-in-law “did not speak or say one word to each other” during one of the first cast filming events.
As The U.S. Sun reported weeks ago, Teresa and Melissa have been “[refusing] to speak to each other” — even when they’re in the same room at the same event.
“The drama has shifted from Melissa and Teresa to the other cast because there is no drama between Melissa and Teresa since they are not talking whatsoever,” an insider revealed at the time. “Producers have to still make a show that’s entertaining and need the ratings, so they’re pulling strings to make it work.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in early 2024.
