Vanderpump Rules' Lala Kent on Why She Tearfully Apologized to Madison LeCroy After Plastic Surgery Diss, Squashing Beef With Teresa, and MJ's Shady Comment at BravoCon

Lala Kent apologized to not one but two of her fellow Bravolebrities during the BravoCon fan convention earlier this month.

During a couple of recent episodes of her podcast, the Vanderpump Rules star, 33, looked back on run-ins with Southern Charm‘s Madison LeCroy, 33, Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa Giudice, 51, and Shahs of Sunset‘s Mercedes “MJ” Javid, 51.

On the November 22 episode of Give Them Lala, per Heavy, Lala looked back on a 2021 episode of Austen Kroll, 36, and Craig Conover‘s Pillows and Beer podcast, during which she made comments that “really, really hurt” Madison about her plastic surgeries.

“They were talking about how she went in and did X, Y, and Z. She was very open about how she went in and got a ‘mommy makeover.’ And I said something in a very flippant way that was not kind. And it wasn’t really directed at her. It was just a stupid comment, like I do,” Lala recalled.

One year later, during BravoCon 2022, Lala apologized. Then, earlier this month, she apologized again because she “felt so guilty about it.”

“This BravoCon when I saw her, she was so sweet, like, we had squashed it. But I checked in again. And I just broke down sobbing,” Lala shared. “And I was like, ‘I just am so sorry.’ And she was like, ‘Lala, you are going to make me cry. We’re fine.’ And I was like, ‘No, but you are so sweet. I never want to hurt somebody who doesn’t deserve to be hurt.’”

Also on Austen and Craig’s podcast, after Austen said Madison would “f*** with him” after their split, Lala deemed the behavior “so unkind” and suggested Madison got a “mommy makeover” because she wasn’t confident.

“With a lot of us, you take a girl who’s like eh. And then you give her a mommy makeover, and suddenly she’s feeling herself. But the insecurity still lingers, you know? Where she’s got to pull you along, she’s got to make it feel like you want her, and this guy wants her, and that guy wants her. She needs constant validation,” Lala stated.

As for her drama with Teresa, Lala said she would not want to be stuck in an elevator with her and her husband, Luis Ruelas, 48, due to the concerns she’s shared about Luis’ behavior, before apologizing.

As she shared on the November 8 episode of Give Them Lala, Lala decided to say she was “sorry” to Teresa because she and Luis have always been “kind to [her].”

“I let her know … I have nothing but respect for you and I hope that we can start fresh.’ Beef squashed,” Lala said.

During the same episode, as reported by Reality Tea, Lala admitted to being shaded by MJ due to a Burberry two-piece she wore on the first day of BravoCon.

“She goes, ‘This is what we chose for the day?’ I was like, ‘What the f*ck do you mean?’ She goes, ‘I mean it’s fine. Tomorrow I’m sure you’ll do better.’ And I was like, ‘Yo, you’re a f*cking b*tch,’” Lala recalled.

But after day three, during which Lala wore an athletic-inspired look, MJ said she was happier with her fashion selection.

“MJ rolls up on me and goes, ‘By the way … this was your only good look.’ She goes, ‘I’m your friend. Everyone else lies to you. I did call her a ‘See You Next Tuesday’. But in a loving way,” Lala joked. “This is why I have a giant head because if I didn’t, things like what she said would put me in the grave. I would be sobbing. ‘You’re telling me that this is the only day I look good and I’ve seen thousands of people? Great!’”

Vanderpump Rules season 11 will premiere on Bravo in January 2024.
