Lala Kent revealed why she unfollowed Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney on Amazon Live on Thursday.
After a number of fan accounts on Instagram confirmed that Ariana, 38, and Katie, 37, were no longer on her following list, the Vanderpump Rules star, 33, explained the decision, dished on the upcoming reunion, and confirmed if she’s “still friends” with Tom Schwartz‘s ex-flame, Jo Wenberg.
“I just filmed something really fun. It was probably one of the best times I’ve had … ever. I had the best time filming this and I’m really excited for you guys to see it. But I met a lot of people while doing this who I really enjoyed and I wanted to follow them because I found their lives to be very interesting,” Lala began during her April 11 appearance on Amazon Live after reading a question from a viewer.
After following her mystery co-stars, Lala, who suffered a falling out with Ariana at the reunion and feuded with Katie throughout season 11, said the Virgo in her didn’t like that her Instagram numbers didn’t line up.
“I have 2.4 [million] and then it was like, following 227,” she recalled. “[And] it bothers me when that number isn’t kind of consistent. So I went in to see who I could unfollow and they were the two that I seemed to not be that interested in following any longer.”
“But maybe when I go up to 2.5, 2.6 [million], we can bring them back,” she added.
Another fan asked about when the Pump Rules reunion would air. And while she didn’t know the air date, Lala did tease that it would be a “wild” series of episodes.
“During the baby reveal, I was like, ‘Yeah, part three will be crazy.’ I don’t know how many parts there are. I’m just used to there being three parts but don’t quote me on that. I just know we filmed it and it was wild,” she stated.
Someone else asked if she was “still friends” with Jo.
“I was never friends with Jo. I need to make that very clear,” Lala replied. “I witnessed Jo at Hotel Ziggy very, very upset and distraught and then she reached out to me because Schwartzy said, ‘I think you should reach out to Lala. She seems to be soft right now.’ And I felt the need to let her know, ‘You can come around this group, and I can’t speak for everybody, but I want you to feel comfortable if I’m there.”
“I’m not friends with her. It was me trying to do something that I would hope someone would do for me,” she continued.
Also during the livestream, Lala reacted to a viewer who mentioned that Ariana and Katie were still following her.
“That’s nice of them. My life is interesting so why would they unfollow me?” she asked. She then added, “Just kidding!”
