Lindsay Hubbard posted a message on her Instagram Story for Johnny Bananas after he spoke of the time they spent together in late 2023 on a podcast.

Following Johnny’s podcast appearance, during which the 43-year-old Real World and Challenge alum suggested that he could have fathered the 39-year-old Summer House star’s baby girl, Gemma, who was born in December 2024, Lindsay took to social media to set the record straight about the nature of their relationship.

“Dear [Johnny Bananas] in case you never had the birds and the bees talk, you actually have to have sex to get pregnant, and last I checked, we never hooked up,” Lindsay declared, telling Johnny to “get [his] relevancy from someone else.”

“And let me be clear, my baby is way too cute to be a bananas baby!” she added.

On the November 26 episode of the Hollywood Raw podcast, Johnny spoke of how long he’d known Lindsay, revealing that they met before she was on reality TV.

“She was a publicist back in the day, used to do PR, and she actually, I worked with her, and then we kind of lost touch. We went kind of our own direction. I had gotten into a relationship, and then I saw she ended up becoming a cast member on Summer House,” he recalled.

According to Johnny, he and Lindsay “reconnected and rekindled” their relationship after “things went sideways” between her and her former fiancéCarl Radke, 40, whom she split from in August 2023. And, when he learned she was pregnant in July 2024, it was “real scary.”

“Let’s just say this: The timeline of when the rekindling took place, and again, the only reason I’m saying this is because it’s out there in the press. We got paparazzi somewhere in like, West Village, but the timeline made it real scary for me when a few months later it’s like, ‘oh yeah, Lindsay Hubbard is pregnant.’”

“I had to like, really go back,” he added.

Summer House season 10 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in early 2026.
