The rumors and blind items were correct. Lindsay Hubbard is pregnant and expecting her first child!
Moments ago, the 37-year-old Summer House star announced her pregnancy and showed off her baby bump in a sweet Fourth of July post.
“Trigger Warning: This post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!! 💥💥💥,” wrote Lindsay. “I truly believe the universe has a bigger plan and this is it! 💫.”
She continued, “The second I had a feeling, I took a @clearblue Early Digital Pregnancy Test and getting a clear result, in words, made the next steps sooo much easier. My boyfriend and I are beyond excited to welcome our little #HubbCub this Holiday season 2024!! 🦁🎁 #ClearbluePartner #ClearblueConfirmed.”
Lindsay’s confirmation comes weeks after a blind item claimed she had to drop out of filming The Traitors due to being pregnant.
Not surprisingly, during an appearance on the June 4 episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Lindsay, who has previously suffered a miscarriage, was forced to deny the pregnancy claim.
“These rumors are insane. I’m not pregnant [and] I was just with [Amanda Batula] in Portugal and Mexico,” Lindsay claimed last month.
For the time being, Lindsay, who suffered a broken heart after ex-fiance Carl Radke called off their wedding last August, is choosing to keep the identity of her boyfriend private.
Reality Blurb did share photos of Lindsay’s new boyfriend in April, via Bravo and Cocktails, after they were photographed attending a wedding together. One of those pictures is below.
During a recent interview with Rolling Stone in June, Lindsay confirmed her new beau is someone she briefly dated years ago, but the timing simply wasn’t right, and that they recently reconnected in December and started dating again in January.
“He popped back up this past December, and we started going on dates in January. He was making the most effort and was very consistent,” she shared, describing the relationship as “so loving, caring, and respectful.”
As for whether her beau will be making appearances on Summer House season nine, Lindsay stated, “I think that’s a conversation that I would have to have with him.”
When it comes to why she’s choosing to keep his identity a secret, she admits it’s simply due to privacy reasons.
“When we started dating, I really wanted to maintain our privacy for as long as possible,” Lindsay told E! News on June 21. “We needed to see how we felt about each other without the whole world chiming in with their opinions or [judgments]. The only thing that truly matters is how we feel about each other at the end of the day and I needed space and time to figure that out for myself.”
