Lindsay Hubbard slammed West Wilson for using a photo of Ciara Miller and Lindsay’s one-year-old daughter, Gemma, to distract from rumors linking him to Amanda Batula in March on Tuesday’s Watch What Happens Live.
While also accusing Amanda, 34, of using her estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, 43, as a decoy, addressing her communication with Amanda and West, 31, and sharing her thoughts on their potential future, the 39-year-old Summer House star revealed when Jesse Solomon, 32, began to have suspicions, commented on a romance between Carl Radke, 41, and Bailey Taylor, 31, confirmed if she’d spoken to Pagie DeSorbo, 33, teased the reunion, and more.
“[West] used my child as [clickbait] to sort of cover up his relationship, and I didn’t like that, and we [talked] about it at the reunion,” Lindsay explained on the April 28 episode of WWHL of a photo West shared of Ciara, 30, playing with Gemma.
Lindsay also said that Amanda attempted to distract from her and West’s then-secret romance by kissing Kyle during a brunch date with Bailey.
“Imagine using your husband as a decoy for your boyfriend. Wild,” she noted.
According to Lindsay, she “didn’t initially believe” the rumors linking West to Amanda, nor did she suspect something was happening between them last summer when they filmed season 10.
“I did not. But I was also popping in and out, so it was a little bit more difficult for me to really pay attention,” she explained. “[I] couldn’t be the bone collector that everyone wanted … [But] we learn a lot at the reunion.”
Although West suggested that he and Amanda began their romance in February, Lindsay said she didn’t believe that was the case.
“No … Things in an emotional capacity could’ve happened before,” she shared.
Then, suspecting that West and Amanda would not last, Lindsay revealed the communication she’d had with the couple since their relationship was confirmed.
“We filmed the reunion on Thursday. Amanda texted me on Friday. I responded, saying, ‘I’m on my way to Stagecoach.’ And then West texted me on Sunday night, also still at Stagecoach, and was like … and I just haven’t responded to him. I just, it’s gonna take time for me to respond to him,” she admitted.
Looking back on production on Summer House‘s upcoming spinoff, In the City, Lindsay said she had Amanda’s back.
“We were basically best friends while filming. I got very, very, very close to Amanda while filming In The City, so this whole situation has disappointed me a lot,” she shared.
As for whether Jesse was aware of Amanda’s romance with West, Lindsay said he began to suspect something was going on in early March.
“On March 2, we went to dinner that night, and he was like, ‘Hey, I kind of think something’s more serious here, and it was bouncing off my head.’ That was around when he had just started putting the puzzle pieces together,” she explained. “[And] I was like, ‘Absolutely not, Jesse. This is not happening.’
Moving on to Carl and Bailey, Lindsay said she thought they would make a cute couple.
“[They] have the same quirky energy. And I’m so far removed from my relationships with Carl … Just physically, they would look good together, and I think personalities, they would look good together,” she stated.
While Lindsay denied that her recent collab with Carl helped mend their relationship, she appreciated his reaction to her support of SoftBar.
“He was certainly — he loves the hugs,” she said, confirming his reaction warmed her heart.
Reflecting on last week’s taping of the reunion, Andy Cohen, 57, made it clear that Lindsay was “activated.”
“There was one point where I was talking to West, Ciara, and Kyle, and Amanda. And Lindsay is like, all over me. I’m like, ‘Stop!’” he recalled.
“This was one of the most intense, dramatic reunions that I’ve ever experienced,” she replied. “We were there for a very long time. I had to beg Andy for a pee break.”
Also on the live show, Lindsay said that she had not spoken to Paige since the news broke about West and Amanda, adding that they were “in a good place,” and reacted to Danielle Olivera, 37, naming Amanda as the least trustworthy during a past season.
“I think that Danielle has a weird witchy intuition, which is always somehow true,” Lindsay admitted.
Following the live broadcast, Lindsay appeared on the WWHL: After Show, where she reacted to Kyle’s decision against investing in SoftBar, despite Carl’s support of Loverboy.
“You can’t invest in someone’s company and then expect them to invest in yours when they’re down bad,” she noted. “I honestly think that, like, if Kyle’s down bad, he should not be expected to invest in Carl’s investment, [which is] a brand new idea. As we know, Carl has ideas every f*cking week, at least when I was with him, and one stuck and you know, so I understand … I understand why Kyle did not invest.”
Summer House season 10 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
