Bailey Taylor recalled seeing Amanda Batula kiss her estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, in February, weeks after confirming their split, and weeks before Amanda confirmed she was involved with West Wilson.
As she also spoke of a potential romance with Carl Radke, 41, accused Ben Waddell, 38, of lying about having a girlfriend, and confirmed whether she felt that Jesse Solomon, 32, knew about Amanda, 34, and West, 31, before the rest of the world on Tuesday’s Watch What Happens Live, the 31-year-old Summer House star looked back on her brunch date with Amanda and Kyle, 43, and reacted to “Scamanda.”
“[Amanda] was grabbing [Kyle’s] face and like really heavily kissing him. And I was like, ‘What is happening?’” Bailey shared on the April 28 episode of WWHL. “[It was] February 28, I know now because of Jesse Solomon. February 28. I said to West, ‘What are they doing?’ And he goes, ‘Let them do their thing,’ and now I’m like, ‘Why did he say that?’”
According to Bailey, Amanda and Kyle’s split came as no surprise.
“There were many times where I was like, ‘I’ve never even seen them kiss.’ They seemed, she seemed over it, and Kyle just seemed like he was spiraling … It didn’t feel salvageable to me. [But] it was sad, and I was rooting for them,” she explained.
Although Bailey wasn’t shocked to see Amanda and Kyle part ways, she was taken aback when Amanda and West revealed their relationship publicly with a statement, and she felt that it wasn’t necessary for them to speak out so soon.
“I think they should’ve waited … just a little more time,” she noted.
As for whether Amanda and West’s romance started sooner than they admitted, the season 10 newbie said, “It’s undeniable watching the season.”
Since Amanda and West went public, Bailey has only spoken to Amanda.
“I just didn’t know what’s true anymore … [we talked through] voice memo, texting … it was not [ChatGPT]. She was getting a lot of [backlash]. I did [check in on her] a couple times. Her mental health matters, and I just wanted to make sure she was okay, but, obviously, I checked in on [Ciara Miller], too. Nothing to say to West, don’t have a word to say,” she stated.
Then, after suspecting that Amanda and West would be “over in two weeks” if they weren’t already, Bailey admitted to feeling suspicious about the couple while rewatching the show, but she denied that Jesse knew a thing.
“Jesse saw things that he thought [were] weird, and I thought also something was weird, but I still didn’t believe it, and I don’t think Jesse knew. I believe Jesse 100 percent,” Bailey concluded.
She also addressed her own love life.
“My sweet Carl. I, like, cry when I think of him. He’s so sweet to me. I love that man … I do need a kind man. He is a kind man. I adore him, and I love [Lindsay Hubbard]. It’s very good. It’s very healthy,” she gushed.
Moving on to Ben, Bailey was asked why he wasn’t receptive to her flirting.
“I think he wasn’t receptive to my flirting because we didn’t have a vibe, which is totally fine. But I do think he had a secret girlfriend. Love her. Love [his girlfriend Sabrina Jet]. Adore her. [But] 100 percent, I think they were together, and I think he lied,” she declared. “And I think that’s why he got so mad about the joke.”
As Summer House fans will recall, Bailey joked about Ben wanting to sleep with Amanda on an earlier episode, which set her co-star off.
“I am many things. I am not a liar. I might be dramatic, and I may exaggerate, and I’m totally fine … [But] I would never tell a blatant lie,” she reasoned.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Bailey admitted that filming the reunion was “hard” and “sad” with a lot of surprises.
“There wasn’t a lot of time to necessarily enjoy. It was just a really sad day,” she shared. “A lot surprised me [and] a lot’s gonna surprise [viewers].”
Summer House season 10 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
