Carl Radke spoke of the possibility of getting back together with his ex-fiancée, Lindsay Hubbard, on Tuesday’s Watch What Happens Live.

While also reacting to Lindsay’s run-in with his mom on Summer House, revealing if he felt that Danielle Olivera, 37, was right about their past romance, and teasing the “emotional” reunion, Carl, 41, addressed meeting Lindsay’s one-year-old daughter, Gemma, looked back on his heated fight with Kyle Cooke, 44, and shared his thoughts on Ciara Miller‘s separation suggestion to Kyle and his now-estranged wife, Amanda Batula, 34.

“I think that ship has sailed, but I do really believe we have a strong bond as friends, and I think there is a future of strong friendship, and I’m hoping for that,” Carl said of his relationship with Lindsay on the May 12 episode of the WWHL: After Show. “But no, I don’t think she wants to go back there, and neither do I.”

“I’m not trying to do this just for the show but I think it’s important for people to see how exes can maybe come back together. It’s co-parenting in a different way,” he continued.

Then, on the live broadcast of WWHL, he admitted that Lindsay’s encounter with his mom at SoftBar was “uncomfortable” to watch.

“There is history there. I can understand where Lindsay was coming from with a little bit of uncomfort by the whole situation. But my mom had talked to me before the night, and she said, ‘If I see Lindsay, I’d like to just say hello and congratulate her on being a mom,’” Carl revealed. “It was uncomfortable to watch back, but my mom’s interpretation of the interaction wasn’t maybe as [awkward as] what I watched. My mom was like, ’That was a little weird, but I’m glad we talked.’ And then when I watched back, I was like, ‘Oh my God.’”

Back on the After Show, Carl admitted that Danielle was “probably” right to be concerned that he and Lindsay were moving too fast when they struck up a romance years ago.

“Danielle was definitely, I think we moved too fast … I’d also just gotten sober and probably should’ve taken some more time focusing on that, but [you] can’t put the genie back in the bottle,” he reasoned.

As for the reunion, Carl said he went into the taping hoping that he and his castmates could “set a higher standard” for themselves as they faced off with West Wilson, 31, and Amanda over their controversial romance.

“[But] within two minutes, the wheels were off. It was incredibly emotional. I think we were learning things in real time, which was very hard for a lot of us to digest. There’s real hurt. There’s real disappointment. There’s real lives that, we’re a real family and it just was uncomfortable,” he explained. “I think [Andy Cohen] nailed it when he walked out of the studio. [He was] like, ‘That was chaotic. It was intense.’ But I do think that there was maybe some slight progress because we got it all out. I think, yeah, it was nuts.”

Although reunions aren’t always easy, Carl said it’s “really important” to hash out the issues the cast faces as a group.

“It’s part of what we do here and I think it’s really important. But I think it’s what allowed our show, we worked through some of this crazy stuff. I mean, look at me and Lindsay. Three years ago, we were sitting next to [Andy], and the reunion was not great either, so I think we’re now in a place where hopefully we can work through stuff and set an example,” he shared before quickly adding, “Well, we’ll see.”

Carl and Lindsay have come so far since their messy split that Carl was actually able to meet her daughter, Gemma, in New York City earlier this week.

“She was trying to get Gemma to say some words but, just seeing Gemma run around the party, it’s like, little Lindsay running around. It’s like, adorable. It’s really sweet. I’m happy for her,” Carl gushed.

Also on the live broadcast of WWHL, Carl spoke of watching his fight with Kyle play out on Tuesday’s episode of Summer House.

“I was standing in my apartment, pacing around. I got emotional at one point. I was a mess, actually,” he revealed. “You never want to get to that level. I was really in my head after the fight kind of settled down, just cuz I’m like, ‘I love this guy, and I let things boil over.’ I also lost my cool, and honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever flipped out this much sober in my life other than right there. I really lost it.”

After Andy, 57, pointed out that Lindsay seemingly started the fight before consoling him, Carl said he better understood Kyle’s reaction to Lindsay’s questions once he learned what had taken place prior.

“Now, looking back, I get it. I didn’t have all the information that he had, like the Ciara conversation on the beach about Amanda and him taking space; I didn’t know that. I think that informed some of his energy at the table, too,” Carl noted.

As for claims that it was “hot” seeing him go after Kyle, Carl signaled Bailey Taylor‘s response.

“There was a moment Bailey tried to make out again, after. I mean, it would’ve been heroic if I just was like, ’Screw it’ and made out there,” he admitted. “[But] I was upset. I was a mess.”

Moving on to Ciara’s suggestion about Kyle and Amanda, Carl didn’t think she was out of line.

“I think at this point in the friendship and the relationship, I feel like Ciara’s really shown up for both of them and there’s been many other conversations … there’s been a few of these conversations for a couple of seasons, so I feel like Ciara really was trying to be a good friend,” he said.

While Kyle has been accused of not being supportive of Carl and his business, Carl defended his longtime friend, confirming that Kyle had “shown up for [him] in a lot of ways that I don’t think the audience has fully seen.”

“I don’t want to keep score here, but the guy is my best friend. He’s done so much. I love him. He’s really shown up for me, even since all of this stuff,” he shared.

Looking back on potential regrets, Carl said he wished he’d gone right to Kyle with his feelings, rather than share them with the rest of the group.

“I owe Kyle to have more open conversations with him. I think I’ve learned a lot over the last summer. And even us getting into the fight that we did, I’m not as afraid to tell him how I’m feeling, and I always try to protect him in a way because I really care about him. But I also used to work for him, too, so there’s always a little bit of an imbalance at times, but listen, I owe it to him to be direct with him, not behind his back,” he admitted.

Later on the show, Carl continued on about his newfound friendship with Lindsay, sharing that it had “been really good.”

“The last couple days, we’ve been together a bunch doing different press. We were at a friend’s birthday party … It’s really cool to just be in a place where we’re friendly,” he declared. “There’s so much history. There’s so much bond. I missed her in that friendship, and I feel like we’re getting closer to being just really happy and in a good place.”
