Alicia Carmody reacted to Brian Pontarelli‘s arrest and confirmation of the video of him and his former mistress on Sunday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
As she also teased the Real Housewives of Rhode Island reunion, reacted to Liz McGraw‘s drama with Jo-Ellen Tiberi, 38, and shared her rose and thorn of season one, Alicia, 41, looked back on the re-proposal of her longtime partner, Billy Kitsilis, addressed Kelsey Swanson‘s bullhorn stunt with Rosie DiMare, 35, and more.
“Brian is the gift that keeps giving. I’m so entertained by that man,” Alicia began on the June 14 episode of WWHL.
Turning to Brian’s arrest, which came after he was caught tracking wife Rulla Pontarelli‘s car, Alicia continued, “You would do that, Brian. I don’t know [why he was tracking her]. Maybe because he wanted to know where she was to know what he was doing so he could be free.”
As for Brian, 49, admitting that the video of him and his ex-mistress, reportedly Beth Walker, was real, Alicia said she was “impressed.”
“He has to admit it. That’s like, the first step because people will respect you more,” she noted.
Moving on to the reunion, Alicia said Rulla, 46, had the most to answer to, named Kelsey was the best dressed, and said Rosie offered the most comic relief. She then revealed that Jo-Ellen brought the most receipts and would be the one whom fans deem the MVP.
Regarding Liz, 55, Alicia said she was the one with the most mean girl energy and the person who left with the most unresolved issues.
“I was so nervous I couldn’t feel my fingers, but after a while, I’m like, this is just normal,” she described of her first reunion. “We all love each other, and we’re just having conversations. That’s all it was.”
Following the taping of the RHORI reunion, Alicia said she went out with Jo-Ellen, Rosie, and Kelsey, 32, and noted that Jo-Ellen and Rosie were the cast members she was closest to.
After being asked about her aunts, Alicia confirmed that they had not seen Liz after they called her out for her treatment of Alicia, and she spoke of the fame they’ve gained since being featured on the show. In addition to hosting a meet and greet and selling merchandise, the aunts were nearly invited to appear alongside Alicia in the Bravo Clubhouse.
Although Jo-Ellen has suggested that she and Liz were “best friends,” Alicia denied it, saying, “I think they were very close. I don’t think they were best friends but they were very close for sure.”
Speaking of their fight, she added that it “really affected [her].”
“I hated that Liz was acting like that. I hated that Jo-Ellen was so sensitive towards it, and I also felt bad for Liz. Like it made me sad for her,” she explained.
Then, after being questioned about her rose and thorn, Alicia shared, “[My rose was] that Billy got down on his knee after 10 minutes, and I love him, and it made me realize how much I loved him this season too, it was like really good for us. [And my thorn was that] I didn’t realize how sensitive I was, and I’m like, working on that … I do [have a quick recovery time for getting over things], but when it’s not deep. I’m learning about how to deal with people that hurt me that I really love.”
Also reflecting on Billy’s proposal, Alicia said it was a “big deal.”
“He’s not romantic, and I was like, I loved that he tried. After like 10 minutes, I said, ‘Billy, come on, you gotta work on it a little bit harder.’ He did. That was big,” she stated.
She then admitted that driving is still not going “so good.”
“It’s just not for me. 15 minutes is my max,” she explained.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Alicia was asked how she would’ve reacted if she were Rosie amid her bullhorn drama with Kelsey.
“I would’ve been the same way cuz I feel like my home is my safe place, and we’re not that comfortable yet for you to show up like that. So I get it,” she admitted.
As for the definition of a slampig, which Kelsey called Rosie on numerous occasions, Alicia confirmed it referred to a “massive wh*re.”
“That’s how I grew up. That was what we said, a slam pig, Sally the slampig, Sally the slammer … Sally’s a dirty girl,” she explained.
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island season one reunion begins this Sunday, June 21, at 9/8c on Bravo.
