Rosie DiMare explained why she was so set off by Kelsey Swanson‘s bullhorn prank amid their square footage feud after Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.

After viewers watched as the ladies got into a screaming match after Kelsey showed up to Rosie’s residence with a bullhorn amid suspicions that the home wasn’t as big as Rosie claimed, Rosie revealed details regarding her ongoing frustration with Kelsey and her alleged lies as Kelsey defended her behavior and other cast members weighed in.

“You show up to my house with a siren, and you start saying, ‘House police, house police, looking for 8,000 square feet,’ as you pull into my driveway when you don’t even have a house. I couldn’t even wrap my head around the fact that this was happening. And she’s like, ‘What? It was funny,'” Rosie recalled on the May 17 episode of the RHORI: After Show.

While Rosie acknowledged that fans may think that her reaction was larger than it should’ve been, she explained that her outburst against her co-star had been a slow build.

“People are gonna think, like, she just rolled up to my house one day and was, like, mean to me one time, and I’m freaking the f*ck out. [But] this is just the tip of the iceberg,” she clarified. “First, it was my husband’s gay, then it was my career’s fake, then it was I was fired from my former job, then I had an affair with a basketball coach, which I didn’t, then it was my square footage is fake.”

Although Rosie said she had done her best to explain her home remodel “calmly,” she felt she was constantly being attacked by Kelsey.

“I’m showing up to places, and I’m a bad person and a narcissist because I didn’t post a picture of the haircut. It’s too much. I’m just tired, and it’s like again, again, and again. I can’t go anywhere without getting screamed at for a fake accusation that doesn’t make any f*cking sense,” Rosie complained. “At the mansion, I was like, I’m cool not getting an apology, for the entire summer. She says I’m not genuine. I’ve accepted it without getting an apology, just trying to move forward.”

“I was like, ‘Fine, let’s just, like, be cool. Let’s just move forward.’ And that’s why I was so pissed off when she pulled that sh*t at my house,” she continued. “You’re showing up to my house, where I’m going to let you cut my hair so that we can post it on my social media, so that you can get attention and we can help your business grow.”

Reflecting on her drama with Kelsey, Rosie said that she’d gotten really aggravated by Kelsey’s antics and felt that she wanted “to hate [her].”

In her own segment, Kelsey defended herself, explaining that she was set up to take measurements and insisting her bullhorn stunt was nothing more than a “joke.”

“I went into her house, the plants and the measuring tape were sitting there, so even before I had the megaphone and the police siren, she still had the plan for me to go measure her foundation,” Kelsey revealed, adding, “She’s joking around. Why can’t I?”

“I just thought it was funny … Take a joke. It’s not that serious,” she added.

Elsewhere on the RHORI: After Show, Jo-Ellen Tiberi described Kelsey’s antics as “hysterical,” while Liz McGraw found them “hilarious.” Meanwhile, Alicia Carmody was less amused, claiming Kelsey’s joke “did not land.”

“It could’ve been funny … [But] the joke, for me, didn’t land [and] Rosie, for whatever reason, it hurt her feelings. She felt attacked,” Alicia explained.

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island season one airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
