Dorit Kemsley‘s estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, claims she’s blowing off their financial crisis, choosing to instead enjoy time in Europe, where she’s celebrating her 50th birthday as their Los Angeles home faces foreclosure.
As the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who turned 50 on Tuesday, enjoyed time with Hermès executive Michael Coste in Paris, France, reportedly with no return date in sight, PK, 58, asked a judge to give him control of the six-bedroom, 10-bathroom property, claiming he recently put up $300,000 of his own money to save it from foreclosure, and accusing Dorit of “non-cooperation” and “broken promises.”
According to court documents obtained by TMZ on July 14, PK has been trying to resolve the financial trouble he and Dorit have faced in recent months, but Dorit has been making it hard. So, rather than wait for her to return from her kid-free getaway, PK wants to gain control of the home, which is worth about $8 million, so he can sell it off before a foreclosure takes place.
PK alleged that he moved out of the home after his split from Dorit, but continued to help with the bills — all while Dorit failed to pay the mortgage. He also said that while Dorit spent over $1 million on travel and luxury items, he put up $300,000 of his own funds to save their home after she agreed to sign a deal to reimburse him once the home was sold.
PK went on to reveal that Dorit left their two kids with her parents and claimed the children have no idea where their mother is or when she will be home.
He even said Dorit prioritizes personal travel over “addressing the urgent financial crisis facing our family home.”
Amid PK’s efforts to sell their home, Dorit surfaced on Tuesday at upscale hotspot Siena with Michael for a birthday lunch.
“Celebrating [Dorit Kemsley] the best way possible: with laughter, great conversations, and a toast at [Siena],” Michael wrote in the caption of a July 14 post that featured photos of the two of them. “Happy Birthday!”

After Michael’s post was shared, Dorit replied, “Afternoons like this are the best. Pure joy. Thank you for such a special afternoon and for making me laugh until it hurt. Love you!”
Dorit and Paul “PK” Kemsley announced their separation in May 2024, and Dorit filed for divorce in April of the following year.
